Slide’s are OTB qualified with Cerakote H-146Q Black (semi-satin). According to sumguy named “Vickers” “Often I get asked in my classes what is an acceptable trigger pull weight on a carry or duty handgun. … As a general rule, a serious use pistol should have a trigger no lighter than 4 pounds and ideally no more than 6 pounds”. Hey I agree with someone! Unless you are a Bullseye shooter using a 1911 pistol you are quite simply “not in the know” nor apropros using anything less than a 5lb trigger (in my humble opinion) for reasons you would scoff at if shared so today we will pass.. BUT, alas, these have medium reset 5 lb triggers so all is good! Add in the 3D “NAVY” slide plates and we have an awesome pistol for a Navy vet. Wanna build your own? Ain’t happening but let’s pretend! Find a Glock G19 RTF2 Battleship BluGray NIB new in box pistol for $600, call Glock for an OEM Glock G19C barrel $150, call Glock back for issue Glock tritium sights $125, find an authorized shop to perform OEM compensated slide cuts $200ish, engrave “USN”, engrave USN logo, engrave U.S. Flag $300, OTB the slide with Cerakote $144, Vickers accessories $50, United States Navy two sided embroidered officially licensed ceremonial/decorative flag another $200, action tune trigger w/ 5lb connector (Glock OEM) another $100, Glock OEM G19C barrel $125 (ships with two barrels) total $1994 and about 9 months with travel to 3 states.. or buy ours which ship tomorrow for a flat $1499 smackers!
