TACTICAL LIMITED WILSON COMBAT / RUGER GP100 DAO BLACKOUT

$1,761.00

Description

pending not for sale.. LIMITED PRODUCTION LIMITED AVAILABILITY THROUGH ROCKEGROUP, LLC ONLY!! These are the only units which will ever be available on the civilian market. Law Enforcement Cop Shop Limited Production run with DAO double action only bobbed NP3 hammers, Wilson Combat Custom Tune (w/ Spring Kit), full blackout package, XS tritium Big Dot night sights, rubber Hogue Gripsalot w/ wood blackout inserts, full melt treatment for snag free carry, NP3 all internals to include hammer and trigger, chamfer cylinder w/ oblong bevel, Novak Lo Mount Carry rear sight, extended cylinder release, .357 Magnum and/or .38 Special w/ 3 inch barrel, six shooter. Whaa?? Who needs a revolver? DAO double action only? Whaa?? Ok Alex you’re catching flies! Revolvers are necessary tools in the tactical/combat arena for several reasons * Layaway guns. Your layaway gun is typically a pistol which lays (wherever) for years, sometimes decades yet when needed can be picked up and is guaranteed to go bang. Theoretically semi auto pistols are not utilized in this scenario as magazine springs and internal springs will suffer fatigue and not feed reliably when loaded for years on end with full round counts. We kinda call bullshit on this but there is some validity to it. Our layaway guns have been S&W 686 stainless units for the last decade plus but have now been replaced with these superior fighting tools. * Reliability; no one can argue that a revolver is more dependable than a semi-auto. At least no one with true experience which kicks the CCR (Chairborne Chatroom Rangers) crowd out. * No fuss no muss. Anyone can pick up a revolver and pull the trigger. No external safety, no magazine, no mag release, no hammer decocker, NADA. Which means your 3 year old daughter can pick these up and make them go bang too- so put your head on right and think about it. * Cold environment tool. South Dakota, Nebraska, wherever temps dump well below zero you cannot smoothly draw a pistol from the waist. Revolvers belong in that massive exterior parka pocket for quick access. In addition these are “shoot thru” pistols; keeping your hand in your pocket the bobbed hammer is nigh snag proof and is ideal for shooting through your parka pocket in CQB scenarios. * DAO double action only is a requirement for EVERY law enforcement officer in the United States when using a revolver. Although the revolver may be SA/DA and could be cocked for single action use doing so would at the least result in a nasty letter in your personnel file. Any use of a revolver in a combat, defense, or tactical situation demands DAO use.. Ok there is ONE time when you would use SA but I’m not telling // Ruger builds revolvers to a “price point” these limited run units were not. They were built no expense spared. Originating from Ruger with GP100 contract specifications they have traveled from Newport NH to either Sparks Nevada or Louisiana for additional cataloging, certification, and distribution. Wilson Combat was contacted in Arkansas and provided specific support and work with Custom-Tune using their proprietary Spring Kit. Shipped to Phoenix Arizona where Robar provided nigh salt water impervious NP3 to all internals and hammer and trigger. Units were test fired after custom tune work to insure flawless function and reliability. XS sights are customized for POI with Novak rear and are not commercially available in this configuration anywhere else in the world. These pistols were built specifically for CQB close quarter battle and infallible operation. XS Big Dot sights with tritium provide nearly instantaneous target acquisition and subsequent disposal. Bad eyes, good eyes, nerves wracked, shaking, adrenaline dump, of no matter. These Big Dot monsters get you “on”. Build your own? You cannot. You can buy a civvie Wiley Clapp DA/SA with gold bead front site for about $850. Take off the twenty dollar brass bead front sight and order XS Big Dot tritium sights for $137. Problem is they will not fit in the dovetail so you will need to do some smith work and then refinish the pistol since you chopped it up; another $350. Problem? Sure the sight will not fit with the Novak rear sight so now you can put in a contract for XS sights with non standard elevation.. then full interior NP3 from Robar $291, Action Tune w/ Wilson Combat to include springs, blueprint, and live fire function test another $212, blackout grip panels (non catalog) $44 each, new trigger (bob) and machine for proper relief and fit another $201 hits you at $2085.
