STEINER MILITARY OPTIC: Military issue Steiner M8Xi is the newest version of the CQBMRSS as issued to military forces. At 1x the optics is used in CQB close quarter battle scenarios from 1 foot out to as far as you desire; by cranking up to 8x the ability to engage silhouettes at 800 meters and or make the “apricot” shot is apparent. Reticle has an “enemy combatant” graph or rangefinder. By putting the “enemy combatant” in the graph an instant range estimation from 200-800 meters is shown. Graph can be utilized for any known objects size; ie, deer runs 36 ” tall (body), coyote 24 inches at the shoulder etc. Of course as a sniper you already know the standard door size, standard window dimensions and can use those for your range estimation. From Steiner military division; “used today by Special Forces around the globe – Steiner sets a new benchmark with the ultimate DMR (Designated Marksman Riflescope) M8Xi 1-8×24 with an 8x zoom and an outstanding field of view (4.8-34.2 m at 100 m). The 8x zoom gives the operator more flexibility and a higher resolution from close quarter to mid-range scenarios while the large field of view and the outstanding optical quality create a perfect overview of the surroundings at all times. The new M8Xi 1-8×24 has been designed to resist the toughest conditions and is already proven battle worthy and beyond”.
STEINER DBAL-A3 LASER DESIGNATOR (SQB): New military issue Steiner DBAL-A3 Green.. this is the “square box thingy” or SBT on the end of the upper rail. Push buttons for green visible laser usage. Includes invisible laser and invisible IR illuminator for optional night vision system. Green visible laser for use in low light conditions WITHOUT night vision; put the green visible laser on your target out to 600 yards or so and when it is on the target press the trigger. Since you’re visible green laser is on your target and “zeroed” your bullet goes where your laser is. Simple! You do not use your sights or optics, you do not need a good cheek weld, wherever the laser is hitting it is where your bullet will hit. You can hold the carbine upside down, point it around a corner, hold it over your head, whatever. The invisible AND visible laser are “tied” together so to zero these is a breeze. Go to the range during daylight hours, turn on your visible green laser, put it on your target at 50 or 100 yards and fire a round (without using any sights or optics on your carbine). If you are aiming with the visible green laser and your bullet hits 12 inches low and or 12 inches left and or whatever you simply turn the windage and or elevation on the Steiner to the right or left or up or down the number of clicks and shoot another round. Lot closer but not perfect? Make another correction till your bullet hits exactly where the visible red laser is aimed. Once the bullet hits where the laser is aimed IT WILL ALSO HIT THE SAME WAY WITH THE INVISIBLE LASER!! In other words you also zeroed your DBAL-A3 for your night time NV night vision use. Laser Aiming System, Advanced Target Pointer/Illuminator/Aiming Laser, Mil-Spec, rated “C” legal for civilian purchase. This is the exact same unit issued to your Special Forces except the IR laser has been “dialed” down so it’s effective range is 700-800 meters. Includes an “NV Illuminator” or invisible flashlight only viewed thru NV equipment.
TROY BUIS: Offset system for the operator to utilize as a back-up in case your main optic goes down, the Troy Folding Sights will give you the premier performance you need and expect. Units have the CQB aperture. For optimal aiming precision sights can be adjusted at ½” increments at 100 yards. The adjustments for the front and rear sights are captive to ensure that once sighted-in, there won’t be any adjustments not intended by the user. There are no buttons or mechanisms to accidentally bump that will activate or fold down your sights when you least expect it, simply move them up to lock into position, or apply sideward pressure to the vertical tower to lock them down.
