GLOCK G17 GLOCK 17 9MM NATO “C” COMPENSATED GLOCK, 500 ROUNDS, AMERICAN FLAG ENGRAVED, U.S. ENGRAVED, “56” ENGRAVED, SIX CUSTOM MAGAZINES, CUSTOM FITTED CASE ++
PRICE IS FOR ONE ONE ONE PISTOL AND ACCESSORIES AS DESCRIBED. ONE (1).
COMPENSATED GLOCK G17: These are compensated Glock G17 pistols with Glock OEM “C” barrels (from Glock) and Glock compensated slide cuts c/o Toner. Full size duty firearms. Personally I do not like the G19. At all. The g17 has the full sized grip which allows “normal” people (ok people with slightly large hands) to get a firm full grip. In addition for those with “medium” hands it allows more control vs the G19. Alas, that is my opinion.. only.
COMPENSATED GLOCK G17: Your pistol ships with two Glock OEM barrels. One Glock compensated OEM barrel from Glock, not aftermarket. The second barrel is a serialized Glock standard OEM barrel for LE needs in departments where the “C” pistol is not authorized. The pistol has the Glock compensated slide cuts but with the standard barrel IS authorized for all LE use. Compensated pistols decrease muzzle flip and recoil allowing the end user to accurately expend more ammunition without loss of sight picture. In other words you can put two rounds on target, accurately, vs your peers one round on target in approximately the same time. Two is better than one.
GLOCK OEM STEEL NIGHT SIGHTS: Glock steel night sights, low profile, tritium, green “glow” with white daylight highlights. These are tapered low profile snag free sights and are not able to “snag” for one handed manipulation. They are designed for ease of carry, to be “snag-proof”, and are low profile which means your sight picture is closer to the bore axis.
ROCKEGROUP CONTRACT OVERRUNS: Contract pistols are new, never issued, never fired. You are buying one not two. Your G17 full sized duty weapon is engraved “U.S.” starboard side, American Flag top of slide, and the numeral “56” top of slide forward of ejection port. Note these pistols have an enhanced Cerakote finish. Other upgrades include the Vickers Butt Plug with disassembly tool in Coyote Brown and the extended magazine release.
MAGAZINES: Pistol ships with six (6) Glock OEM magazines with Coyote Vickers baseplates. In addition the Vickers Butt Plug matches the baseplates. Seventeen round magazines; substitutions available for those in restrictive states.
SAFARILAND ISSUE HOLSTER: Safariland USN SOCOM issue thigh/leg holster in multi-cam camouflage cordura. USN Low Signature SLS Tactical Thigh Holster is constructed with infrared signature-reducing Cordura® nylon finish and is issued in MultiCam®. This holster uses the popular Self Locking System (SLS) rotating hood retention system, for a smooth, single-motion draw that’s completely snap-free. Key features include a molded sight track and soft suede lining to protect the gun’s sights and finish. Double-strap leg shroud features silicone strips for non-slip traction on the thigh. Ideally suited for tactical use, this versatile holster also has applications for hunting activities. That said the pistol and holster combination using todays Buffalo Bore ammunition insures it is completely acceptable for back country protection. Safariland states on their website you can order one for custom manufacture. No you cannot. Takes us months to get an order for 60 contract units done..
CRUZR CUSTOM CASE: The premier Cruzr Pro Level case fits the G17 and has an accessory slot which is 6 x 4 inches. The top of the case has an integral Galati magazine holder which holds the included six magazines. Airline approved, lockable.
AMMUNITION: Full 500 round unopened case of Federal AE9SJAP1 150 Grain TSJ FN. “Syntech® Action Pistol is specifically designed for the action shooting sports and loaded to power factor requirements with heavy, flatter-nosed bullets for more reliable knock-downs on steel targets in competition. Like all Syntech loads, they feature the exclusive Total Synthetic Jacket (TSJ™), which prevents metal-on-metal contact between the bullet and barrel, eliminating copper and lead fouling as well as reducing damaging heat and friction. RAMBLINGS: FULL SIZE DUTY PISTOLS/CROSSOVER COMPACT: So most of you already know I have an issue with about 1/2 of gunriters but here is another example. I’m a readin Guns & Ammo or some such keeping current and I read an article from a gunriter whom states to all far and wide that if your EDC (everyday carry pistol) is a Glock 43 sub-compact, or a S&W Shield .380 compact, or a 5 shot detective special ultralight that is what you must take to all of your training courses. Cause he’s an idjit whom never went to a 5 day training course where you shoot 500 rounds per day. I mean dumbass. Yep I said it. Your training pistol is a full sized duty pistol. Your home defense pistol is a full sized duty pistol. The one you carry in your center console is a full sized duty pistol. Your OWB open carry is a full size duty pistol. Alas, for a vast majority of us our EDC is typically a compact or sub-compact pistol. Less weight, easier to conceal. Also holds less rounds, is not as accurate, and is certainly not as manageable nor as recoil absorbent as our duty pistol. It is a teeny thingy for emergencies or to allow us time to get to our.. duty pistol! We become proficient with our compact or sub-compact teeny EDC thingy but we learn and practice with our full size duty pistol(s). The odds of using your full size duty pistol for the vast majority of us far outweigh the odds of us using our subcompact thingy at Starbucks. Ok so I digress a bit. Go ahead and take a sub-compact pistol which holds 7 rounds to a 5 day training course; say Gunsite. A subcompact is NOT designed to fit anyone’s hands it is designed to be teeny. So you will get blisters. Fast. Since you brought 5 total magazines (three extra cause you’re smart) you have four on your person and one in the weapon. Total 35 rounds. I have 5 mags also which = 85 rounds. So I stand around with my thumb up my butt waiting for you to reload every 4 minutes. You cannot hit squat past 10 feet so now you are depressed cause you’re that “guy” or “gal”. You also go home the 2d day or the instructor has a few quiet words with you. And you go home that day.
