RIFLE DESCRIPTION: Magnus rifle with every upgrade including $1500 add for Titanium action. Unit is in the ubiquitous “Tectonic Tan” which matches environs everywhere much like “multi-cam”. Direct hit on the KUIU “VIAS” pattern. The itemization for this rifle is in the pictures along with the cost for the rifle and scope only; hard case, bipod, and ammunition are hard adds. Magnus configuration has proven to be the best all around configuration for hunters.. not too light, not too heavy. This rifle will rack and stack at 1500 yards no problem. The professional level shooter will be able to reach to 2000 yards in this configuration.
GUNWERKS BDC/KAHLES 5-25 OPTICS: The Kahles 5-25i Illuminated allows the end user to utilize the .300 PRC out to the 2000 yard mark with no issue. Gunwerks has the BDC turret installed, certificated, and zeroed. Using the included ammunition the turret dials to 1500 yards on the first revolution. This custom rifle also has the anti-cant (bubble level) installed by Gunwerks as shown.
Target at 550 yards? Turn the turret to 5.5 and hold dead on. 250 yards? “2.5”. Aoudad at 680 yards? Dial to the 6.75 hashmark and rack em.
CERTIFICATED 1000 YARD BULLSEYE: Moi, Kurt Klimek, attended the aforementioned course hosted by Gunwerks. The SGI (Senior Gunwerks Instructor) was Brian Lastnameunknown and the 2d instructor was Ian Alsolastnameunknown. Pake from Gunwerks also assisted. During the course of live fire the group engaged various sized steel from 300 to 1000 yards under the supervision of an instructor whom called hits/misses. Since I do not shoot at game at 1000 yards I passed on that particular silhouette. After spanking the 700 a few times Brian urged me to take a crack at the 1000 yard target. Then Ian from the other side of the park had to chime in. Fine. Klimek took one shot at the thousand and KRAKATOWA.. a direct bullseye. Spot on. Dead center. When everyone quit catching flies Ian reviewed the play and subsequently stated the hit “could be” about an inch left and maybe an inch and a half low. Ian was told to stay on his side of the playground.
DEMONSTRATOR/SCRATCHES: This shooting course is also a fair chase hunting course for Aoudad aka Barbary Sheep aka Moufflon (for ze French). During the course of the hunt Brian and myself climbed a point and from the top 247 yards across the ravine found four Aoudad feeding toward us. Short version I had to low crawl through the slate and scree to the edge of the cliff, set up, and quickly take the shot. During this brief low crawl through scree and subsequent set up in the middle of scree the rifle was scratched as shown in the pictures. Scratches are on the bottom of the stock with a couple small ones on the cheek rest of the stock by the buttpad. This stock can be sanded down by the end user and touched up in under an hour or given to a Cerakote applicator whom can re-do the scratches for under $300. The scope is pristine as is the rest of the rifle.
** If it is such a great rifle why ain’t you keeping it buddy?? a)) Cause I do not shoot 1000 yards. b)) Cause I prefer a lesser scope. c)) Cause since I have my own custom order with a 3-18 scope and 20 inch barrel arriving in a week or two. d)) Cause I ain’t your buddy.

CALIBRE .300 PRC: This rifle configuration in the .300 PRC takes all North American Big Game to include Brown Bear. This cartridge has the ability to extirpate game past 1500 yards; note note I am not advocating shooting game at 1500 yards. Simply pointing out the lethality of this cartridge at that distance. No reason this cartridge could not be your “one gun” cartridge. Deer and antelope are fair play and the .30 caliber covers the full spectrum of huntable game. Recoil for me is a non issue; with the Gunwerks brake and Magnus stock it is less than a .300 Win Mag.
AMMUNITION: Premier Gunwerks ammunition. Five boxes, 100 rounds, Berger Hybrid 215 Grain Hunter. The Aoudad I shot ran 5-6 steps and flipped upside down. Literally. When we were able to scale Mt. Everest Jr to get to the Barbary Sheep it had all four legs sticking straight up in the air. As an aside, ze “Moufflon” are known for soaking up bullets. The 28 Nosler in particular has punched a few holes through numerous Aoudad before “ze Moufflon” capitulated. This .300 PRC ammunition is a one shot stop..
ATLAS BIPOD: BT47-LW17 PSR Atlas Bipod Tall with ADM 170-S Lever. Quick release mount pops on/off the forward picatinny rail as desired. Folds forward and or backward depending on your current application.
GUNWERKS HARD CASE: The new Gunwerks “SlimLine” hard case is included as shown in the pictures. Airline approved, lockable.
COST/BUILD: The itemization for the rifle only NO BIPOD NO HARD CASE NO AMMO is in the pictures $13,844. Gunwerks is quoting a 4 month wait time. Yeah, ok. Add the hard case to your order $315.
