ROCKEGROUP RAMBLINGS: Before we start I must confess I own a Skuhl in .375 Ruger; Roxie and Terri each own one in .338 RUM. On the surface this is rather disingenuous of me. I hate fake wood stocks. I hate cheese ass engraving on rifles. I hate distressed steel firearms as I feel I can scratch em up enough on my own. I have never liked the Gunwerks Clymer stock, I prefer Magnus. I order all my Gunwerks with carbon wrapped barrels, not straight steel. Yeah, well, there is an “exception to every rule”. I love these rifles. Period. They are freaking spectacular. Chock full o’ awesomeness. This rifle feels perfect with awesome ergonomics. Twenty inch barrel and shoots 600+ yards all day long. Ballistic Turret means you range to target and turn the turret to that range. Brown Bear Monster/Moose/Elk/Cape Buffalo/ Wolf/ Muley/ Mastodon whatever at 425 yards? Turn the turret to 4.25. Target at 600 yards turn the turret to “6”. Completely tuned, zeroed and set up by Gunwerks with the included Gunwerks ammunition and Ballistic Turret.
CALIBER 375 RUGER: Short version the .375 Ruger was designed to demolish the .375 H&H and does so admirably. The .375 Ruger with the Gunwerks ammunition is a bona fide 600 yard plus shooter. If you read the numerous reviews from the “experts” the .375 Ruger is truly your one “do it all” gun as it has loads from 220 Grain to 300 Grain with bullets from ELD and VLD Long Range to Nosler Partition and AccuBond. That means this rifle is perfectly suited for deer to Brown Bear (which are bigger than Grizzly Bear). I have used my personal Skuhl to hunt BC for Moose and have taken Bison with my personal rifle. Ok Alex.. this rifle is BRAND NEW manufacture brand new arrival. Not my rifle.
RECOIL WARNING: This rifle is NOT FOR NEW SHOOTERS. Recoil is acceptable for an experienced shooter. I shoot mine in a T shirt at Ben Avery twice a week, no problem. That said I shoot 8-10 rounds per session and move on to my other work and or personal platforms after. This is not a rifle you shoot 20-30 rounds out of rapid fire. It is a premier hunting rifle designed to extirpate whatever it’s sights are on with one round, and of course follow up if necessary. Simply stated, if you are an experienced hunter or shooter with proper technique recoil is a non issue. If, however, you do not put the stock in your shoulder, if you creep up over the stock to look through the scope, if you are sitting straight up when you shoot.. do not buy this rifle.
LENGTH OF PULL: Standard LOP is 13.5″ this rifle is set up by Gunwerks at 13.75″. Preferable for a larger caliber rifle.

It is not scratch proof and will, with time, add more character to the rifle. Like during your first visit to the range when you stick it in a vertical rifle holder..
KAHLES 3-18 OPTIC: Absolutely superior optic; it is a K318i MOAK with an upcharge of $3,250 on the Gunwerks rifle builder (website). At the 3x power you have a massive FOV as close as 20′. This means you have the ability to use the optic on close quarter game; rifle box for whitetail or charging lion or.. that said the the magnification at 18x allows the experienced end user to shoot 700 yards no issue. Note I said experienced end user.
AMMUNITION: Five boxes (100 rounds) Gunwerks hand loaded 281 Grain PLF Precision Lead Free. The bullets are from the manufacturer “Hammer Bullets”. The 281 Grain is the “Hammer Hunter” and have been proven to be a serious one shot “Hammer” with bullet dependability at both near and far range. Note in the pictures are two boxes of Choice ammunition. These are mine not yours BUT they are shown so you know your rifle will feed Nosler Partition 300 Grain cartridges and 300 Grain Nosler AccuBond cartridges.. slick. Smooth.
DUOFOLD BIPOD: BT10-LW17 V8 Atlas Bipod with quick release ADM-170-S lever. This is a perfect match to this rifle; folds forward or back, full extension with cant/swivel, lockable.
ULFHEDNAR: Ulfhednar premier ammunition carrier and utility pouch for your rangefinder (rangefinder not included). You should get one of the new model Gunwerks BR-4 units though. Amazing. Gives a shoot to range as it takes into account altitude, temperature, inclination and more. Yes we have them in stock.
COST/BUILD: The “lead time” for this rifle on the Gunwerks website is 180 days, six months plus. Too intricate and too time consuming to grab parts, stick together, and throw out the door. If you can get the Gunwerks rifle builder on their website to allow you to build a Skuhl as described with the Kahles 3-18i it is $15,934 no hard case, no ammo, no Ulfhednar. Rifle and scope only. See the itemization in the pictures. Once you get to check out you can add the hard case for $350, Atlas duofold BT Bipod with quick release $290 (upgrade from Gunwerks smaller version). Ammunition 5 boxes premier Gunwerks $225 per box = $625. Ulfhednar ammo carrier $99. Total if you can order one and get in mebbee 8 months is $17,298. Then add GB fees.. ours ships tomorrow.
