MOSSBERG 930 TACTICAL MOSSBERG 12 GAUGE CUSTOM TACTICAL W/ TRIJICON RMR RED DOT, MESA TACTICAL UPGRADES, 250 ROUNDS “OO” BUCK
930 TACTICAL: Civilian legal semi automatic Tactical 12 gauge, 14 rounds; 7 in the tube, 1 in the chamber, 6 on the sidesaddle. Self-regulating gas system that vents excess gas to aid in recoil reduction and eliminate stress on critical components. Chambers both 2 3/4 inch and 3-inch 12-gauge shotshells with ease. Recoil with 00 Buck is on par with bird shot in a pump shotgun. Magazine capacity is to 7+1 which means the autoloader holds 14 rounds with the extended magazine tube and Mesa Sidesaddle. Receiver-mounted safety is convenient for right or left-handed users; simply push the button forward to take the weapon off safe. A protruding chrome cocking-indicator button is strategically placed in the front inner-edge of the trigger guard, making it easy to see and feel when the weapon is cocked or un-cocked.
MESA TACTICAL PICATINNY RAIL AND SIDESADDLE UPGRADE: Shotgun has the aluminum (not plastic) full picatinny rail system with shell holder port side; six round holder. Mounted via 4 screw with one rear anchor. Mesa Tactical upgrade.
TRIJICON RMR RED DOT: The Trijicon RMR® Type 2 LED reflex sight is issued to SOCOM; your United States Special Forces. The housing shape absorbs impacts and diverts stresses away from the lens to increase durability. Battery-powered Trijicon RMR Type 2 LED features a sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness of the illuminated red dot based on ambient lighting conditions. It’s suitable for military, law enforcement, tactical, and CQB use. The 6.5 MOA Dot gives the end user the biggest dot available in our LED-operated models. The bigger dot size gives the user the ability to locate the dot quickly which is ideal for close quarter shotgun engagements, and in addition can be a great solution for those with poor vision. This system is mounted with this stock, this rail, this mount, to have proper red dot acquisition with any near to proper cheek weld. That means instant acquisition; no “searching” for the dot as is common on so many builds today. This red dot RMR is always “on”, automatically adjusts for lighting conditions, and has a two year battery life. No fuss no muss. Pick up and go. Mounted on a Trijicon RMR adaptive picatinny mount w/ Torx 20.
STOCK: Ok I’m a gonna bitch a wee bit. Collapsible plastic stocks are “in vogue” and are “tacti-cool”. Some are even “OK”. But a shotgun recoils. Period. If’n you are going to put some rounds on some bad things this semi-auto will slam rounds out as fast as you can move your finger; which means you need to mitigate recoil to stay on target. A shotgun needs a full size stock to spread recoil out which will allow you to keep the red dot on target and insure fast follow up. The full length fat forend insures a positive grip when grabbed “on the go”. In addition this stock enables the end user to immediately follow through with a nice buttstroke if necessary. A pistol grip stock precludes buttstroke use and a plastic collapsible stock insures you will be uncomfortable utilizing the platform and ergo you will never reach the capability inherent in such a devastating platform.
