THREE CUSTOM 10MM BUILDS: Three full blown 10mm customs 100% built by Nighthawk with all upgrades.. upgraded custom smoked nitride finish, upgraded recon rails, upgraded OHESO certificated sights, ETC Frag modified Super Scoop grips. Complete itemization for the three identical Trooper Commander 1911 10mm pistols is in the pictures!  

SEQUENTIAL SERIAL NUMBERS: Two of these brand new manufacture brand new arrivals have sequential serial numbers while the third is “off”. Not sure what that is about..

KIT DATES: Kit dates on the invoice are stated as being from July of 23. Must be a misprint as the Kit Dates are when the complete parts arrive for hand assembly. Regardless we received these after a two year wait in Sepetmber of 2023. Brand new.

LINT/OIL/DETRITUS: Pistols are blemish free; close up photos pick up lint and some grease smears not visible to the naked eye. Sights are perfect; one set in the pictures has some lint in it.

NIGHTHAWK CUSTOM TROOPER COMMANDER: These custom builds represent the core of what Nighthawk Custom is all about: American made, finely tuned, hand-built craftsmanship. The beauty of the Trooper model is in its simplicity, giving the shooter everything they need in a 1911 pistol and nothing they don’t need. Built on a foundation of hand-fit, fully machined parts the Trooper sacrifices nothing. The upgraded Rockegroup edition morphs into the back-country back up pistol for every animal in North America yet enables the end user to utilize these customs as their EDC (every day carry) piece. Self defense, offense, bear back up, Monster Bureau hunting.. these pistols in 10mm do it all. Additionally Nighthawk Custom states these are ideal for competition matches.

10MM CARTRIDGE: This pistol qualifies as an EDC carry piece for those whom demand the superior lethality of the 10mm and or an awesome back country backup for bears, lions, etc. Keep in mind the 10mm is used by the Slædepatruljen Sirius (Sirius Sledge Patrol) headquartered in Daneborg, Northeast Greenland as a defense against polar bears which the unit encounters during patrols; with full boat loads it has three feet of penetration. Three feet. The 10mm is the only caliber with massive ammunition availability which allows the end user to use as a defensive weapon with appropriate defensive loads against humanoids to an offensive hunting platform with full power loads and bullets manufactured for deer up to Cape Buffalo. 

10MM CARTRIDGE PART DEUX: Let me be redundant here..

• there are 10mm loads that are readily commercially available that have the recoil of a 9mm and the lethality thereof. C’mon Dorothy read that three times.. self defense loads with the “recoil of a 9mm”.  
• there are 10mm loads that have the ability to ethically kill Cape Buffalo, Brown Bear, etc
• there are 10mm loads for everything in between to include military offensive loads, home defense loads, deer hunting loads
• the 10mm cartridge is the most versatile cartridge offered in a 1911 Commander sized semi-automatic firearm 

NAKED SLIDE CUSTOM: Rockegroup, LLC, it is widely acknowledged, was the first premier LLC to demand manufactures DELETE their manufactured names from their slides.. if you want “HAWG”, or “TALON”, or “SPECIAL FORCES” this ain’t the place. Subtle understated beauty. 

CUSTOM NITRIDE FINISH: One of the best advantages of this finish is the hardness of the steel; at 64 HRC, nitride is just six units below a diamond finish at 70 HRC. This means that the metal is solid and durable. This increase in the metal’s strength insures the firearm is better protected and results in a high resistance to erosion. Performs exceptionally well in areas with extreme temperatures, including cold, and places where the gun parts will be exposed to abrasives such as sand in the desert. A nitride finish’s smooth surface also means that the gun will be easier to clean and will need much less lubrication to keep it in good working order.

NIGHTHAWK SMOKED NITRIDE: The Nighthawk Custom “smoked” finish is stunning. The shade or coloring of the pistol will change slightly under different lighting. Note some of the pictures show the pistols as dark while others appear as if it has a brushed stainless matte look. In addition the smoked finish has brighter highlights on the edges of the slide and frame.

TRIJICON HD / NOVAK: The rear Trijicon sight has a massive “U” notch with two tritium inserts and the Trijicon HD Orange front sight has a tritium insert. This combination allows for instantaneous target acquisition in a CQB arena using the massive front HD Orange sight.. like when there is a Grizzly charging or there is a humanoid charging with a machete or or or. The tritium inserts insure low light no light capability. In addition these are OHESO approved sights. 

OHESO: One Handed Emergency Slide Operation works on the theory that you will not be unscathed in a gunfight. If you lose the ability to utilize an extremity ie arm you can use the other arm ie extremity to rack the slide off your pants, curb, wall, what have you by “hooking” or snagging the rear sight and racking the slide. The sights will hold the slide immobile while you run the frame. The rear sight will immediately grab whatever you snag them on. OHESO. One Handed Emergency Slide Operation. Rockegroup, LLC also invented that term so when you go to Gunsite and Cory starts yapping OHESO this and OHESO that you will know where the term came from! 

TEST TARGETS / ACCURACY: No sense in showing the test targets as all the rounds are through the same hole.. with two different loads. At 36 feet. This is a testament to the NM National Match barrels and the Trijicon sights which are not only instantly acquired but are insanely accurate.

NIGHTHAWK CUSTOM KNIVES:

1. K951 TACTICAL HUNTER (KNIFE): This is the smaller black knife in the pictures. Crafted by renowned bladesmith Steve Woods. 9” overall length with a 4” cutting surface. CPM 154 steel for a tough blade that can withstand the rigors of hard use and has been heated to a Rockwell hardness of 58-59. The scales are crafted from double black G10 with custom inlaid Nighthawk medallions on both sides. Glass bead blast finish. Stainless Torx #20 screws in the handle. This model comes with a Kydex sheath with Blade-Tech Tek-Lok.
2. K950 NIGHT FIGHTER: This is the larger knife in the pictures. “With a rich history in combat, the Night Fighter is the ultimate combat knife. Fully designed and hand built by renowned bladesmith Steve Woods, this model has a track record of combat use. Used in the theater of war since 2004, this blade has been carried by Special Ops members and is adored by three-letter agencies. With an overall length of 11” and a cutting surface of 6”, this knife is ready for battle”. Ok that hoopla statement is not from Rockegroup, LLC.. just to be crystal. “The tan/black 2×2 layered G10 handles give you a sure grip on the knife in all situations. The blade has been forged from CPM 154 steel and is finished with a glass bead blast. Each finely crafted blade comes in at 58-59 Rockwell hardness. Stainless Torx #20 screws are used in the handle that also features Nighthawk Custom medallions. Each Night Fighter comes with a custom Kydex sheath with Blade-Tech Tek-Lok for horizontal or vertical carry. Overall Length: 11”Blade Length: 6”Handle Length: 5”

WILSON COMBAT MAGAZINES: Nighthawk Custom buys their 10mm magazines from Wilson Combat which purchased Chip McCormick’s company “CMC Products” which manufactures the Wilson Combat magazines. You will receive six (6) magazines which are flush fit with no basepads and hold 9 rounds each. This means your pistols will hold 10 rounds of 10mm using the 9+1 formula. We have thirty 10mm magazines with basepads in stock today from CMC (Wilson Combat). They are $37 each..

AMMUNITION #1: Practice ammunition 1000 rounds FMJ Full Metal Jacket brass reloadable. Practice or outdoor use or punching through car steel use. Not home defense as this ammunition will travel through people then doors then walls then into your neighbor.

AMMUNITION #2: Federal Premium PD10P “Punch”. Premium self defense/offense ammunition using the premier Hydra Shok bullet. One case of two hundred rounds (200).

AMMUNITION #3: Federal Premium P10SHC1. These are solid core monster slaying bullets and are kinda terrifying. Will knock down a Grizzly, smoke a Cape Buffalo. These are your bear back up monster slaying cartridges. Do not use in a city environment as the penetration depths are horrifying.

CUSTOM FITTED CASE: The fitted custom case holds five (5) pistols. With the three you are acquiring you can add two more in the case. Airline approved, lockable, latchable. Massive storage on the side holds your ears, 1000 rounds of ammunition, granola bar, and an apple (medium sized apple).

COST/BUILD: Invoices for each pistol are in the pictures @ $4182 each x 3 = $12,546 pistols only nothing else. Custom Cruzr case $517. Nighthawk K950 is $600 on their site and the K951 knife is $450. Case of 1000 rounds FMJ $699, case of Federal Premium Punch (200 rounds) JHP hollow point $371, case of Federal Premium “Monster Bureau” extirpation ammunition (200 rounds) $444.
