SIG SAUER M18 RED DOT 9MM NATO 10 MAGAZINES 500 RDS AMMO GEMTECH REAL ISSUE NOT FAKE

$3,581.00

Description

SIG SAUER M18 SIG SAUER M-18 9MM NATO GOVERNMENT ISSUE, 500 ROUNDS MILITARY ISSUE M1152 9MM NATO AMMO, ISSUE GEMTECH LANYARD , TEN ISSUE 21 ROUND MAGAZINES, GOV’T/LE ISSUE SAFARILAND LEVEL III HOLSTER, PELICAN HARD CASE WITH THE ISSUE RED DOT INSTALLED.. there is only ONE real M-18 brand new never issued with the real matching FDE colored ROMEO1PRO red dot installed for sale on the civilian market; this one!

EMERGENCY PHOTGRAPHIC DECLARATION: Mein Gott! Some pictures show an M17! The M17 has an overall length of 8 inches while the M18 is exactly identical except the overall length of the M18 is 7.2 inches. The M18 is standard USMC issue and Army issue for specific MOS sub entities while the M17 is standard Army issue. Both are routinely used by different personnel in the USMC and the U.S. Army. The M18 is 3/4″ shorter. Or so. All else same same. Magazines, etc etc. Note these are NOT the civilian M18 / P320 civilian units with black controls they are the actual units with FDE controls and the rear Torx release.

PISTOL: Brand new never issued authentic Government Sig Sauer M18 stamped M18 on the slide. This is NOT the fake civilian version which say’s “P320 M18” and has black controls; this is an authentic Government pistol with the FDE controls (commemmorative) and upgrades over the civilian “M18” fake P320 model. There are thousands of reviews of these pistols so lets skip em except to say they underwent the longest toughest most stringent military trials in history and not only persevered but apparently could have gone another round or two; personally not a fan of Sig Sauer but being objective it did/does one heck of a job. They probably would have won the contract even if they had charged cost for the units instead of subsidizing them off their civilian sales but they do get bragging rights! Unit actually have the M18 optics plate which has the Romeo1 PRO red dot installed. Units include the actual M18 owners manual which is yellow not white.

OPTICS: Sig Sauer Romeo1 PRO Red Dot. Not the Romeo1; this is the Romeo1 “PRO” which was designed for, and used on, the real M17 and the M18. “The ROMEO1PRO brings a new level of durability and performance to the miniature open-reflex red dot sight. Its aircraft grade aluminum housing ensures corrosion resistance under the harshest environments, and a new upgraded point-source emitter provides increased brightness in day or night conditions with 12 brightness settings. The molded glass aspheric lens has upgraded high performance coatings for superior light transmittance and zero distortion giving you fast, responsive target acquisition and accuracy. The ROMEO1PRO includes a ruggedized protective shroud in the box for extreme durability”. Manufactured for the issue M17 and M18.

OPTICS NOTE: The red dot installation is not part of an “operators” standard break down. This is considered an “Armorer Grade” installation and is a pain in the buttocks if you have not done it 12-19 times. it is NOT readily removable. It is installed, or it takes 20 minutes to remove and re-install the cover plate; probably more for you. The red dot housing has a rear sight cut out so you can “co-witness” the sights which would be the cut out in the RMR housing and the front sight. Rear sight is installed with the red dot to cover the dovetail only.

MAGAZINES: The ten OEM 21 round magazines are manufactured in Italy with steel internal springs, have extended FDE (matching Flat Dark Earth) polymer baseplates with a special anti-friction coating. Magazines were contracted and are engineered to meet strict military specifications for performance and reliability. These are OTB certified with the additional coating applied/manufactured by Sig. Adopted by the US Army these extended magazines offer enhanced grip area and improved capacity that’s perfect for home defense, target shooting and more.

AMMUNITION: One full 500 round case of military issue Winchester, M1152, Ball, 9MM NATO, MHS issue ammunition. Winchester was selected as the ammunition supplier for the U.S. Army Modular Handgun System (MHS) program, where the M1152 9mm round serves. “Winchester proudly developed M1152 to serve alongside the U.S. Warfighter and was selected as the sole source ammunition supplier for the United States Army Modular Handgun System (MHS) Program,” Winchester said in a news release earlier this year. The ammunition is intended for use against enemy personnel, for training, and for force protection. Winchester advises to only use the M1152 in modern 9mm firearms in good condition as they run a pressure that is 10 to 15 percent higher than standard industry pressure for 9mm Luger; in other words this is real 9mm NATO ammunition not 9mm Luger..

SAFARILAND LEVEL III RETENTION: “This mid-ride Gov’t issue/duty holster is built from a unique DuPont nylon blend called SafariSeven (7TS). It is highly durable and virtually immune to weather. It uses both the Automatic Locking System (ALS) and Self Locking System (SLS) to achieve Level III retention. The weapon is locked in all directions, yet simply operated with the thumb to allow a fast, smooth, straight out draw. It has a mid ride belt loop that carries the weapon close to the body”. Ok so that means “snatch proof”. Using a level III Safariland issue holster insures your weapon never leaves the holster until you want it too. It is the most secure holster manufactured. The SLS Self Locking System can be kept in the forward position (unlocked) and you can utilize the ALS system for instantaneous draw. The ALS locking system has a draw speed the same as a holster without any locking system whatsoever. The additional SLS or “hood” which is your secondary locking system does take a split second to move forward out of the way. The “hood” slides forward or over the top of the slide. As stated earlier if’n you get nervous you can run the SLS up but will still have the ALS engaged.

ACCESSORIES: 1))) Ships in the airline approved lockable Pelican case with two layers. 2))) Gemtech military issue lanyard, matching Coyote Brown. 100lb break point so you can snap the retention cord itself if you are hung up.

COST/BUILD: There are a few commemmorative M18 pistols on the market today that are the “real deal” but do not be fooled. If it ships in a plastic Sig box= fake. Black controls = fake. Says “M18” and “P320” on the slide = fake. These “surplus” or “commemorative” M18 issue pistols on Gunbroker ship in a cardboard box with 2 magazines and are $1800 on GB today (our real units ship in the Pelican hard case). The fake units run as little as $655. Sig Sauer ROMEO1PRO in matching FDE not black is marked at $460 at Optics Planet estimated to ship in “6 to 8 months”. You are not going to install it; drop it off at a Gunsmith and get back next month for another $122. Our real M18 ships with 10 real OEM 21 round magazines which are $52 each = upcharge of $520. Gemtech issue lanyard $39. Unopened 500 round case of issue 9mm NATO ammunition $411. Pelican hard case $88. Gov’t issue Level III retention $141. Grand total to spend a few weeks scrounging around to get these components will run you $3581. Then add GB fees.. Az pays tax visa mc discover AMEX add 3.5%
