SMITH & WESSON MODEL 41 S&W .22 LONG RIFLE NEW IN BOX WITH 1000 ROUNDS AMMUNITION RANGE/AMMO BAG + 4 MAGAZINES ++
PISTOL: S&W Model 41 is the premier .22 Long Rifle semi-automatic manufactured. Originally introduced in 1947 as a competition pistol the 7 inch semi-auto albeit the most expensive .22 manufactured gathered a phenomenal rep for accuracy, dependability, durability. It was designed with a 105 degree grip angle- the same as the Colt 1911. The 7 inch version is not only an awesome competition pistol but an outstanding hunting pistol. The 7 inch barrel allows for a longer sight plane and with the adjustable sights and premier ammunition accuracy is stunning. Squirrel’s, racoons, birds n smaller varmints have no chance against a marksman. The 7 inch barrel is NOT muzzle heavy; when you pick it up you will be shocked at the “ergonomics”. The weight is retained in the grip and frame and oddly enough the 7 inch is more “comforting in hand” than the 5 inch! As a survival tool the .22 LR has taken Moose, Elk, and routinely deer. We are NOT advocating this use; just sayin.. from S&W: “The Smith & Wesson Model 41 is the top of the line in rimfire pistols. Used by national level competitors for acute precision in competition, the Model 41 is considered one of the best .22 target pistols ever manufactured. Features • Precision, button-rifled barrel • Micrometer click adjustable target rear sight with Undercut Patridge front sight • Ergonomic checkered target grips • Switch-Barrel design allows both 5.5” and 7” barrels on one frame • Crisp target trigger factor set at 2.75 to 3.25 lbs. • User adjustable trigger stop ALL BACKED BY OUR SMITH & WESSON LIFETIME SERVICE POLICY.” Ships with four S&W OEM magazines.
AMMUNITION: The finest .22 LR ammunition made; Eley out of the United Kingdom. Also the most expensive. Eley provides ammunition for the Olympics and it is of the highest quality. Total 1000 rounds. “Decades of continuous improvement have generated the perfect pistol round. Technical research and testing in ballistics, semi-automatic cycling, optimum bullet profiles, priming systems, case construction and the perfect lead alloy have enhanced ELEY’s knowledge in this sector. Comprehensive testing was undertaken to find the ultimate combination of these elements, to produce ELEY. The projectile is made from a high specification lead antimony alloy which reduces surface damage when cycled through the firearm. Precise manufacturing techniques form cartridge cases of uniform length from a tightly controlled brass alloy. This ensures each propellant charge burns in a controlled volume, delivering a consistent energy to each projectile. Providing a controlled recoil pattern and rapid recovery of sight picture”.
