These were prototypes for the Chicago PD “TAG” Team from a few years ago. They were ordered as Tactical Leather with subdued tactical (black & silver) patches and are superior issue quality. Four silver “P” buttons size 36 Ligne (15/16″) and four smaller size 24 Ligne (5/8″). Buttons are screw in buttons using a phillips head on the backing (36 Ligne) and the smaller buttons have removable clips. Two exterior velcro pockets (buttons are decorative), two lower black snaps, wind break closure with button (neck), underarm grommets for ventilation, heavy duty YKK Extreme zipper with leather pull tag, five inner pockets two of which are YKK zipper. Upper interior pocket holds a snubbie .38 Special J frame (in your holster sleeve not provided). Faux fur kidney pad. All zippers are Tactical Blackout YKK “Extreme Duty” with lifetime guarantee. Jackets are specific to the CPD contract and are waist length jackets. These are shorter jackets; side zippers for firearm access were not required as such and further were actually against contract regulations. Stretch side panels are covered with leather. All buttons are Silver with “P” designation. Sizes Medium to XXL some “Long” available. An XL Regular weighs 6 1/2 lbs of brutal awesomeness. Brand new. Smells of fresh drum dyed leather.
