Or unfired your choice..

Ohio Ordnance Works, Inc. (OOW) Civilian Legal Belt-Fed, Semi-Auto Version Of The M240 Machine Gun. 100% civilian legal; if you can buy a .22 Rifle you can buy this. Ok, not in California. Or New Jersey. Hey I do not know where you live..

THIS IS A CIVILIAN LEGAL SEMI-AUTOMATIC BELT FED RIFLE. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT A SEMI-AUTOMATIC IS READ THE LAST PARAGRAPH.

M240 MACHINE GUN REMAN SEMI-AUTO M240 SLR: The M240-SLR (Self Loading Rifle) is a combination of 240 original FN parts with some replaced with semiauto only parts and is completed manufactured exclusively by Ohio Ordnance Works (OOW). That means it is a semi-automatic rifle, belt fed. Delivering minute-of-angle accuracy, high capacity, and proven durability, this weapon is ideal for situations which require highly accurate, sustained, controlled fire. Identical to the military issue M240, the M240-SLR fires a 7.62mm NATO round (and/or .308 caliber). In field tests a randomly chosen weapon effortlessly produced minute-of-angle (1”) groups at 100 yards. In both single and rapid fire (400 rpm) tests, absolutely no malfunctions were experienced with the gun… a true testament to its superb engineering. The M240-SLR is dimensionally identical to the M240, and is able to integrate into any M240 mounting system. The internal parts have been redesigned for semi-automatic use and are all manufactured by Ohio Ordnance Works (OOW) at our ISO certified facility.

RATE OF FIRE: Semi Automatic M240 will easily run with a cyclic rate of 180 rounds per minute. Seen some shoot faster but that is with an experienced operator. This specific unit is brand new manufacture, brand new delivery. Once you get used to the trigger reset you can run as fast as you want. Numbnuts Alex is not a shooter, does not know nor care to learn about proper use of trigger reset and therefore can shoot mebbee 120 rounds per minute.

TRIJICON ISSUE M240 6X ACOG: “The TA648MGO-M240 6×48 ACOG is a Machine Gun Optic (MGO) designed specifically for the M240 weapon system. The MGO provides the shooter enhanced target identification and increased hit probability out to 1200 meters utilizing the Bullet Drop Compensator. The issue SOCOM RMR allows for convoy operations and/or Close Combat situations or any other target designators. The TA648MGO-M240 incorporates dual-illumination technology using a combination of fiber optics and self-luminous tritium. This allows the close in reflexive fire aiming point to be illuminated without the use of batteries. The tritium illuminates the aiming point in total darkness, and the fiber-optic self-adjusts reticle brightness during daylight according to ambient light conditions. This allows the operator to keep both eyes open while engaging close in targets and maintaining maximum situational awareness”. This military issue 6x power ACOG has “7.62” and “M80” etched on the glass with an M240 zero graph on the side. It has aiming points/hash marks out to 1200 meters and is calibrated specifically for military issue M80 7.62 NATO ammunition (included). Target at 800 meters? Put the “8” on target. Target at 400? Put the “4” on target. Waterproof to 328 feet. This is a fixed 6 power military issue magnification optic.

EMERGENCY NOTICE ALERT: Your military issue ACOG is shown mounted in the last pictures. It includes the military ARD (anti-reflective device) and hard lens covers. The starboard side of the ACOG green illuminated machine gun optic is imprinted with a 10 meter BZO (battlefield zero) graph and the port side is imprinted with a 500 meter zero graph. Your M240 ships with this military issue ACOG imprinted per military specifications; it is brand new, never issued. As an aside I would take the ARD off and put in a drawer..

TRIJICON ISSUE RMR RED DOT: The 6X M240 issue ACOG is a superior optic but if you wish to engage at 50 yards or under the 6x power is too much. Simply raise your head and instantly acquire the Trijicon SOCOM issue RMR red dot. USSOCOM Reflex Sight (MAS-D HRS) The RMR® Type 2 was selected by U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Easy-to-use buttons on the sides of the optic allow the user to adjust the illumination brightness, toggle between manual and automatic modes, and power down the RMR for storage. The automatic mode functions the same as the LED RMR version. If a manual mode has been chosen, the RMR will remain in manual mode for 16.5 hours following the last push of a button. After 16.5 hours, the optic will default back to the automatic mode so that the RMR will be ready for your next mission or task. Compatible with night vision devices. End user can also lock out the buttons so that the RMR functions in automatic mode only.

AMMUNITION: Twenty 100 round linked belts of military issue 7.62 NATO M80 ammunition total 2000 rounds. The military issue M240 runs off of 100 round linked (belted) 7.62 NATO ammunition. So does yours. Same ammo, same links, same all. Twenty 100 round belts of new ammunition. Twenty. This is the M80 ammunition the issue optics are calibrated for. Your ammunition will ship with four military ammo cans with 500 rounds each (2000 rounds). All ammunition is new manufacture belted M80 ammunition.

CANVAS DRAG BAG: The M240 is not a light weapon; larger and heavier than the M60 machine gun it is better served as a fixed emplacement or vehicular mounted weapon. With the integral bipod you can rack and stack at the range all day but I would not want to run and gun. The massive canvas drag bag fits the M240 and has pack straps so you can “pack it in” if you need to go back country or in the desert.

COST/BUILD: A new OOW M240 is running 14,700 shipped off Gunbroker today in a plastic shipping case which means you get your M240 “broken down” in pieces with no ammo, no optics, no case, nothing. Ours ships assembled ready to rock in the Drag Bag with the military issue brand new manufacture Trijicon TA648MGO-M240 6×48 ACOG glass etched for the 7.62 and the M80 ammunition for $3249 direct from Trijicon with contract ID. This is NOT the civilian .308/7.62 version; this ACOG is a brand new never issued optic for the M-240 direct from Trijicon. Then add the Trijicon SOCOM RMR another $710, Trijicon RMR mount $104. Drag Bag $191. Twenty issue belts of M80 7.62 ammunition, 100 rounds per belt, total 2000 rounds $3498. Grand total to “build” your own cracks $22,422. Then add GB fees.. Az pays tax visa mc discover AMEX add 3.5% with ID and prior approval only.

Shipping is not cheap; you are looking at $292 with ammo and case and and and..

SEMI AUTOMATIC IS NOT AUTOMATIC NOR “SELECT FIRE”: CIVILIAN LEGAL SEMI AUTOMATIC BELT FED RIFLE MEANS IT FIRES ONE TIME EVERY TIME YOU JERK, SQUEEZE, PULL, PRESS, OR SQUASH THE TRIGGER. ONE TIME EVERY TIME. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC M240 MANUFACTURED SO IT ONLY FIRES SEMI-AUTOMATIC. IT WILL NOT NOT NOT FIRE 880 ROUNDS PER MINUTE AND IS NOT BATFE CLASSIFIED AS A MACHINE GUN.

IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE PARAGRAPH PUHLEEZE MOVE ALONG THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
