M249S (PARA) SQUAD AUTOMATIC WEAPON w/ MILITARY ISSUE OPTICS:
Ok you are not supposed to call it a “SAW” but everyone does so tough Alex! This M249S is the “Paratrooper” version with the collapsible stock. Includes the United States issue Trijicon ACOG w/ RMR red dot. The TA11MGO-M249 3.5×35 ACOG is a Machine Gun Optic (MGO) designed specifically for the M249 weapon system and used by NATO. The MGO provides the shooter enhanced target identification and increased hit probability out to 1000 meters utilizing the Bullet Drop Compensator. With threaded bosses on the eyepiece housing, the TA11MGO-M249 allows the end user to incorporate the Trijicon RMR™ sight for close combat situations or any other target designators. The TA11MGO-M249 incorporates dual-illumination technology using a combination of fiber optics and self-luminous tritium. This allows the aiming point to be illuminated without the use of batteries. The tritium illuminates the aiming point in total darkness, and the fiber-optic self-adjusts reticle brightness during daylight according to ambient light conditions. This allows the operator to keep both eyes open while engaging targets and maintaining maximum situational awareness. So you have a main ACOG for use to 1000 meters and a red dot for CQB or targets “up close” and personal.. these include the military mandated ARD anti reflection device (removable) and “enhanced” screw in latching objective and ocular covers.
Note the issue ACOG is new never issued and is stamped with the required range/graph diorama on the port side and the BZO graph on the starboard side.
TRIJICON SOCOM RMR RED DOT: The Official issue USSOCOM Reflex Sight (MAS-D HRS) red dot is mounted on top of the military issue M249 ACOG and is used for CQB sceanarios. The actual issue RMR mounted on your M249 is DDC or Desert Dirt Color and has the military branding on the top of the RMR itself.
AMMUNITION, ISSUE, GREEN TIP: This is NATO issue mil-spec M855 Steel core Green Tip. It is NATO spec 62 Grain and is not intended for use in commercial or bolt-action rifles chambered in 223. This is the same ammo in use by our troops now as recently as in Afghanistan and current use in North Africa and Syria. Brass-cased, boxer-primed, non-corrosive, and reloadable. *Not for use in indoor ranges.* This ammunition was specifically designed to penetrate a steel helmet at 700 meters; not indoor home protection ammo but it will tear a vehicle apart. 2000 rounds fresh manufacture linked ammunition in 200 round belts. Total of ten 200 round belts. The links are re-usable. Note this M249 is an exact duplicate of the military issue units (albeit in semi-automatic) and accepts NATO issue M4 and M16 magazines for back up/emergency use. Ships in canvas ammunition bags with 1000 rounds (linked 200 round belts) per bag.

MILITARY ISSUE STEEL MAGAZINES: Two FN Coyote Brown 30 round steel military issue magazines included. These are emergency use only; after you have rolled through all your belted ammunition. Magazines in an M249 can be a little temperamental.. last resort.
MILITARY GALATI CANVAS SOFT CASE: Heavy duty canvas drag bag holds M249S with optics and accessories. Includes drag bag cap.
