GOVERNMENT ISSUE M4: New manufacture, never issued. The exact firearm issued to the U.S. military; the selector switch has “AUTO” for fully automatic fire but is non-functional; these are 100% civilian legal. These are 100% authentic as issued except they are semi-automatic.. the full auto selector switch is not operational and these cannot be converted to fully automatic M4 carbines. Military rifle made to FN’s, and the U.S. military’s exacting specifications. The semi-automatic rifle is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and features a 1:7 RH, button-broached, and chrome-lined barrel. The government mandated UID-labeled lower receiver is equipped with an ambidextrous selector switch standard on the M4A1. Knight’s Armament M4RAS adaptor rail, numerically numbered rail, bayonet lug, flash hider. A2 adjustable rear sight to 600 meters with adjustable front sight.
* The Knights Armament quad rail system slides off exposing the picatinny rails (quad). Any military issue accessories may be mounted to the quad picatinny rail system by sliding the KAC covers off and exposing the quad rail system.
FN VS COLT: Not here to argue; Colt has been kicked out of supplying our military on more than one occasion due to inferior product. FN acquired the M4 and M16 contracts and fulfilled them exceeding military specifications. Colt has since been allowed back into the fold and has been supplying our troops again (along with FN). That said give a grunt a choice they will take the FN. Superior product. SOCOM has been taking the Colt lowers, throwing away the uppers, and replacing the uppers with the URGI upper. Last I checked FN was the number one small arms provider to the United States.
TRIJICON MILITARY ISSUE OPTICS: Trijicon makes a 4x ACOG specifically for the military M4 carbine. This is it. TA31RCO-M150CPI/RR. Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG) designed specifically for the issue M4 weapon system (14.5″ barrel). It incorporates dual illumination technology using a combination of fiber optics and self-luminous tritium. This allows the aiming point to always be illuminated without the use of batteries. The tritium illuminates the aiming point in total darkness, and the fiber optic self-adjusts reticle brightness during daylight according to ambient light conditions. This allows the operator to keep both eyes open while engaging targets and maintaining maximum situational awareness. Designed to the exact specifications of the United States Marine Corps, the unique reticle pattern provides quick target acquisition at close combat ranges while providing enhanced target identification and hit probability out to 800 meters utilizing the Bullet Drop Compensator. No tools are needed for windage and elevation adjustments because the TA31RCO features external adjusters, making it waterproof up to 11m without the caps. Mounting bosses are integrated into the housing by the eyepiece to allow the easy addition of the issue Trijicon RMR®. These issue ACOG units include the Government mandated steel braided retention devices for the windage and elevation caps.
* Includes the Government mandated Tenebraex ARD Anti Reflective Device aka SunGuard Kill Flash. “These Tenebraex ARDs, or anti-reflection devices, use a high-tech honeycomb material and unique geometry. Tenebraex ARDs are currently used by United States military forces, police, and anti-terrorist teams because being seen can mean getting hit”. In other words the sun will not reflect off of your optic giving your position away.
TRIJICON ISSUE SOCOM RMR: The Official USSOCOM Red Dot Reflex Sight (MAS-D HRS). This is a 3.25 MOA red dot sight mounted on the half moon mount and sits on top of the 4x power ACOG. The 4x ACOG has a reticle with hash marks out to 800 yards but is not for CQB close quarter battle; by simply lifting your chin the RMR red dot is used for your CQB work. The RMR is the issue Coyote Brown (anodized) and has the Gov’t mandated UID label on the top of the RMR housing.
TRIJICON OPTICS/14.5″ BARREL/GREEN TIP AMMUNITION: The 4x ACOG as described above is calibrated for the military M4 issue 14.5″ barrel using military issue M855 Green Tip steel core penetrator 5.56 NATO ammunition. Meaning the specific 14.5″ barrel using the specific issue M855 ammunition is what each hash mark is calibrated for. Silhouette at 400 meters? Put the hash mark on “4”. If your enemy combatant is at 600 meters put the hash mark on “6”.
EMERGENCY CALIBRATION NOTICE: This M4 carbine has the exact same 14.5″ military barrel as issued. This package includes the exact M855 ammunition the optics are calibrated for. In other words this is the exact combination the military issue ACOG requires for confirmed hits to 800 meters.
EMERGENCY CALIBRATION NOTICE II: The carbine is civilian legal as the 14.5″ military issue barrel has the flash hider “pinned” or permanently attached so the OAL overall length is 16″ = civilian legal.
HARDIGG/PELICAN ISSUE DEPLOYMENT CASE: This is a brand new never issued Government contract Hardigg/Pelican M4 case. Airline approved, rollers, lockable. Government inspection tag. Numerous cut outs for M4 accessories to include a cut out for an SBR upper. Pistol shown in the case is for display and is not included. Grenades are not included. My chest rig is not included.

MAGAZINES, ISSUE: Military magazines have transitioned over the last decade more than I can count. Magpul to aluminum and back and back again. These are Magpul 30 round magazines; substitutions are available. Six magazines are shipped with you package.
NATO ISSUE M855 AMMUNITION: Full unopened 1000 round case of military issue green tip steel core penetrator ammunition, M855. Originally developed to penetrate a steel helmet at 700 meters as I recall. You can look it up. Not home defense ammunition; will go through all the walls in your house. Not for steel silhouettes either as this penetrator ammunition will destroy them. NATO issue, military issue. Great for shooting through cars, end of days, practice ammunition on paper/carboard.
