The new MOD1 Super Duty features a precisely balanced gas system, including the bomb-proofed Super Gas Block, fine-tuned gas port sizing and Super 42 braided buffer spring. These components minimize felt recoil while maintaining reliable cycling in adverse conditions. The MOD1 features the signature Nanocoated HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device compatible with the HUXWRX FLOW series of suppressors. SSA-E X two-stage trigger with a wide-body Lightning Bow® shape and Nanocoated components. Purpose-driven controls include ambidextrous Super Configurable Safety and Airborne Charging Handle, checkered magazine release and Maritime Bolt Catch.
SUPPRESSOR READY: HUXWRX flash hider installed by Geissele; suppressor ready. HUXWRX suppressors are readily available on the civilian market and simply “pop on” over the existing flash hider. No screwing unscrewing messing around. Pop an optional suppressor on/off as desired. This HUXWRX is pinned to the 14.5′ barrel making it 16″ OAL = civilian legal.
TRIJICON MILITARY ISSUE OPTICS: Trijicon issue 4x ACOG with a ballistic drop reticle out to 800 meters specifically for the military M4 carbine.. with a 14.5″ barrel. This is it. Same barrel profile as your Geissele. TA31RCO-M150CPI/RR Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG) designed specifically for the issue M4 weapon system (14.5″ barrel). It incorporates dual illumination technology using a combination of fiber optics and self-luminous tritium. The aiming point is always illuminated without the use of batteries. The tritium illuminates the aiming point in total darkness, and the fiber optic self-adjusts reticle brightness during daylight according to ambient light conditions. This allows the operator to keep both eyes open while engaging targets and maintaining maximum situational awareness. Designed to the exact specifications of the United States military, the unique reticle pattern provides quick target acquisition at close combat ranges while providing enhanced target identification and hit probability out to 800 meters utilizing the Bullet Drop Compensator. No tools are needed for windage and elevation adjustments because the TA31RCO features external adjusters, making it waterproof up to 11m without the caps. These issue ACOG units include the Government mandated steel braided retention devices for the windage and elevation caps.

LARUE QUICK RELEASE MOUNT: The ACOG has the upgraded Larue mount installed; mount is a quick release allowing the operator to remove the optic yet re-install without loss of zero. LaRue Tactical ACOG Mount QD LT100.
TRIJICON ISSUE SOCOM RED DOT RMR: The Official USSOCOM Red Dot Reflex Sight (MAS-D HRS). This is a 3.25 MOA red dot sight mounted on the half moon mount and sits on top of the 4x power ACOG. The 4x ACOG has a reticle with hash marks out to 800 yards but is not for CQB close quarter battle; by simply lifting your chin the RMR red dot is used for your CQB work. The RMR is the issue Coyote Brown (anodized) and has the Gov’t mandated UID label on the top of the RMR housing. SOCOM issue to your Special Forces.
TRIJICON OPTICS/14.5″ BARREL/GREEN TIP AMMUNITION: The 4x ACOG as described above is calibrated for the military M4 issue 14.5″ barrel using military issue M855 Green Tip steel core penetrator 5.56 NATO ammunition. Meaning the specific 14.5″ barrel using the specific issue M855 ammunition is what each hash mark is calibrated for. Silhouette at 400 meters? Put the hash mark on “4”. If your enemy combatant is at 600 meters put the hash mark on “6”.

AMMUNITION: Military spec M855 62 Grain Green Tip, unopened 1000 round case. This is the ammunition calibrated and mated to the 14.5 inch barrel and the Trijicon optics. M855 ammunition was developed as a “steel core penetrator” green tip round specifically to penetrate a steel helmet at 600 meters.

MAGPUL UPGRADED SLING /ASAP/HAND STOP: The carbine is set up with seven sling attachment points, five of which are quick release “plug ins”. The Magpul sling can be utilized as a two point sling or can be quickly configured as a one point sling. The carbine has an ASAP (ambidextrous sling attachment point) plate installed for single point sling operation. The forward rail has an Impact Weapons hand/barrier stop installed.
