TIKKA CUSTOM T3x ROUGHTEC BLACK 16″ NON CATALOG: Tikka limited run of the T3x manufactured in Riihimäki, Finland with upgraded fluted bolt, upgraded fluted barrel, upgraded oversize tactical bolt, upgraded picatinny mount, upgraded stock w/ pistol grip, upgraded Athena .350 Legend compensator, tuned trigger with hand fit bolt. Flush fit three round magazine with optional five round magazine available. Rifle has a thumb rest; while in proper form your thumb will touch a “loaded chamber” indicator when a round is chambered.
.350 LEGEND STRAIGHT WALLED CARTRIDGE: This cartridge was developed to meet the needs of the deer hunter requiring a straight walled cartridge. It has a maximum effective deer lethality range of 225 yards. Period. Numerous states require a deer hunter to use a “straight walled” cartridge if using a rifle; the .35 caliber bullet is more than effective in terminating monster Pike County does and bucks within it’s stated range limits. States requiring a “straight walled cartridge” do not want a long range bullet traveling a mile down the road into a farmhouse; this cartridge alleviates that issue. Awesome “woods” or “timber” carbine cartridge combo.
.350 LEGEND CARTRIDGE FOR HUNTING: This is a “woods” or “timber” cartridge. Typically in Pike County (for instance) your average shot distance is 50 yards. Covering food plots, ponds, and farm land in the Golden Triangle with this cartridge is perfect. The rolling hills and woods of this type country do not typically provide shots further than 200 yards.
.350 LEGEND SIZE/RECOIL: The cartridge is not much larger than a .223 and much smaller than a .308. Yep it is a .35 caliber bullet but the brass cartridge size/dimensions are smaller than you think! Low recoil, low flash, no issues.
SINGLE SHOT RIFLE REQUIREMENT: This rifle qualifies as a single shot rifle by removing the magazine and not having said magazine on your person while hunting (if single shot is required in your state). You have one cartridge loaded ready to go; after firing and opening the bolt you hand feed another cartridge if necessary.
SHORT RANGE PACKAGE (SRP): This rifle is tuned, zeroed, and has had a certificated box test done on the Nightforce. Brand new rifle ready to go 200 yards out of the box!!
NIGHTFORCE OPTIC NIGHTFORCE RINGS: The Nightforce NX8 1-8x24mm F1 is an extremely compact and lightweight low power variable optic that is ideal for carbines and featherweight rifles. The 8x magnification offers crisp images at extended ranges. The true 1x magnification and daylight visible illumination are ideal for closer engagements at red dot speeds. The built-in Power Throw Lever makes changing magnification fast and easy. Note the turrets are both capped which is the proper set up for this cartridge. You do not “dial” to shoot 200 yards! The optic is mounted on Nightforce 30mm rings.
ILLUMINATED OPTIC: The NF optic is illuminated with a “quad circle”. When illuminated the “quad circle” gives you an outstanding block of light with a crisp inner dot. “The Nightforce FC-DMx™ reticle is designed to give maximum capability at 1x and 8x. The segmented centered circle measures 4 MRAD and is daylight bright visible for excellent low light and super bright conditions. The open center allows for clarity of the target and better situational awareness, without unnecessary clutter. A .2 MRAD center dot provides a precise aiming point at high magnification”.
COLD HAMMER FORGED 16″ MATCH BARREL: The 16″ barrel has a sub MOA guarantee and insures the rifle is ergonomically correct (balanced), lightweight, and portable. The OAL overall length of this carbine is 36″. Thirty six inches = sweet. Note the .350 Legend will have a full burn at 16 inches. A 20 inch barrel is overkill.
SUPPRESSOR READY ATHENA COMPENSATOR: Carbine ships with an Ultradyne compensator. We called Ultradyne and they were able to provide a barrel spec matching sized compensator specifically for the .350 Legend. Muzzle rise has been optimized, with gas vented at an angle then forward. This sends a lower percent of sound and gasses back towards the shooter, optimizing sonic performance over recoil. The Athena is easily removable if the end user wishes to run suppressed. Includes a thread cap.
NOSLER AMMUNITION: Ammunition variety for this caliber is surprising; a quick Google search shows 33 commercial loads available today. Included with your package is a full case of premier Nosler Whitetail Country 180 Grain, 200 rounds.
