TIKKA TACTICAL A1 LAW ENFORCEMENT SNIPER (DOMESTIC): “This rifle is a special development for law enforcement sniper application and has been made to meet the challenging requirements of professional Law Enforcement tactical shooting. The T3x TACT A1 provides straightforward performance and ruggedness with just the right amount of adjustability and absolute precision, all in a compact package”.
Steyr and Accuracy International will no longer import true sniper platforms into the United States. Tikka has developed a special edition Law Enforcement sniper rifle which more than fills the void. The Supermatch barrel is threaded, suppressor ready. Ships with the muzzle brake installed. Two stage tuned trigger. M-LOK platform with full length upper picatinny rail. Left side folding stock, approved for Airborne ops (XVIII Airborne Corp), adjustable LOP, adjustable cheek pad, ten round flush fit steel magazine, thumb rest w/ loaded chamber indicator, noted as “insanely accurate”.
STEINER MILITARY 2.9-20 MSR-2: Military branded Steiner M7Xi illuminated 2.9-20X50 MSR-2 . These “Military” units are manufactured in Deutschland and are the finest scopes manufactured today for the tactical arena. The 2-20x is for mid-range shooting to 1100 meters; ideal for snipers using precision bolt guns. 34mm tube, patented DuoScale elevation adjustment with a second-rotation scale that’s hidden when inactive. Current availability for Government, LE, or Military contracts. This unit is new manufacture, mounted, zeroed and box tested.
The magnification range on this insures the end user can take the apricot shot as close as 10′. Ten feet away the optic is such that at low magnification you can take the shot.. yet dial to 20x for your 1000 yard silhouettes.
NOTE: The last FBI report I am aware of stated that the average distance a Law Enforcement sniper “takes the shot” is 44 yards. Other “reports” put the average sniper engagement for LE at 74 yards. Regardless the overwhelming number of sniper engagements for LE is nowhere near 200 yards. Having an optic with the ability to take the shot from as near as 10′ yet reach beyond 800 yards is nothing short of spectacular..
MSR-2 RETICLE: Reticle has an “enemy combatant” graph or rangefinder. By putting the “enemy combatant” in the graph an instant range estimation can be realized. Graph can be utilized for any known objects size; ie, deer runs 36 ” tall (body), coyote 24 inches at the shoulder etc. Of course as a sniper you already know the standard door size, standard window dimensions and can use those for your range estimation. From Steiner military division; “used today by Special Forces around the globe – Steiner sets a new benchmark with the ultimate sniper scope. The 7x zoom gives the operator more flexibility and a higher resolution from close quarter to mid-range to extended range scenarios while the large field of view and the outstanding optical quality create a perfect overview of the surroundings at all times. The M7Xi 2.9-20 has been designed to resist the toughest conditions and is already proven battle worthy and beyond”.
TREMOR III SUCKS: The worst reticle for a hunter and or an LE sniper is the Tremor III series of reticles for numerous reasons. The reticle is a great reticle for the military sniper with a spotter whom is directing the shooter. Strong learning curve to use the reticle properly; designed for long distance shooting. Supposedly when you see your “miss” impact you move your crosshair for your second shot which will be “dead on”, which is bullcrap. Chances of spotting your miss are low to start with and your false sense of confidence with the Tremor III leads to continued failure. Any ethical hunter would not use a “miss” formula nor would an LE sniper. In addition the massive “Christmas tree” reticle may occlude your target. But hey it looks cool!
SPUHR MOUNT: The finest mounts in the world, Spuhr, manufactured Loddekoping, South of Sweden. 34mm with an integral anti-cant device (bubble level). In addition to the integral mount anti cant device there is a second anti-cant mounted on the tube.
OPTICS NOTIFICATION: The properly installed optic lies nigh to flush with the full picatinny rail providing the lowest profile possible. The optic package as installed is designed to utilize a complete soft scope cover not not end cap flip covers. A premier Gunwerks soft cover is shipped with this sniper platform.
CALIBER .308 WINCHESTER: The .308 Winchester has been the premier LE, Government, and Military sniper round for a couple decades and ain’t going anywhere. Ammunition availability is literally everywhere in the entire world. Every NATO country uses the 7.62 and/or .308 Winchester. Every police department. Homeland Security, Capital Police, BATFE, Border Patrol BORTAC, US Army, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard.
SIXTEEN INCH SUPERMATCH BARREL: This sniper platform is designed for the domestic Law Enforcement sniper and will terminate humanoids past 800 meters without an issue. The 16 inch barrel provides a more portable and ergonomically correct configuration vs the military 24 inch version. This sixteen inch barrel has the same accuracy as a 24″ barrel Alex!
ATLAS DUOFOLD BIPOD: BT65 Gen. 2 CAL Atlas Bipod. CAL (Cant And Loc) Atlas Bipods were developed for shooters that require a hard rest. Legs are duofold and will fold flush parallel to the stock or “out”. CAL formatted pod has a greater extension between legs giving the rifle enhanced stability. Picatinny rail mount via a low profile two screw clamp assembly. It is comprised of 6061-T6 aluminum that is Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodized and have heat treated stainless steel components.

-

- as a grip bag. A webbing handle is positioned midway along the bag, providing a well-balanced option for moving it horizontally.
