TRIJICON HD XR ORANGE FRONT SIGHT: Used for advanced target identification and engagement at increased distances, ideal for police and competitive shooters. Thinner front sight post allows the shooter to have a larger field of view which further enhances the ability to identify targets, expedite engagements and see hits on target at longer distances. For local and federal law enforcement and pistol shooters that need the advantage of a more precise engagement and hit placement. Rear sight is the wide “U” notch Tactical Edge serrated at 40lpi to reduce glare. OHESO certificated. One Handed Emergency Slide Operation (OHESO) works on the theory that you will not be unscathed in a gunfight. If’n you lose the ability to utilize an extremity ie arm you can use the other arm ie extremity to rack the slide off your pants, curb, wall, what have you by “hooking” or snagging the rear sight and racking the slide. The sights will hold the slide immobile while you run the frame. DONT GET SCREWED NOTICE: If’n you are looking at an Ed Brown pistol with fiber optic sights and slathered with “Special Forces” on the slide these ain’t them. These are premium hand built Ed brown customs with Trijicon HD and professional slides, ie “naked”.
WILSON COMBAT BLACKOUT: Six HD magazines from Wilson Combat in “Blackout”. Eight round magazines w/ one chambered punches your 1911 to 9 round capacity. Extended baseplate is hard plastic = drop proof. Magazines are externally numbered 1-8 and have windows. ETM Heavy Duty/+P rated with stainless flatwire MAX spring and stainless steel ETM tube. Heat-treated MAX flatwire construction never gets stressed or over-compressed like a conventional spring and is guaranteed to never require replacement even after high round counts or daily, extreme duty use.
KENAI CENTER CHEST HOLSTER: The Kenai center chest holster was originally developed for backcountry carry, ie “bear protection” holsters. Worn with the included strap system (not shown) the holster sits comfortably high center chest either over or under clothing. Center chest makes your pistol immediately accessible for emergency use. These holsters have gained a following for both LE and civilian use as they are perfect “driving” holsters (think about it) and in addition in inclement or cold weather climes can be more advantageous than a hip or shoulder holster.
SWAT VEST: Absolutely essential for the civilian whom wishes to have immediate access to their pistol and ammunition and light and AR mags and knife(s) and and and. SWAT vest is not a bulletproof vest nor a plate carrier. Vest holds your pistol and magazines and essentials and is hung in your closet or lying under your bed or in the trunk of your car or at the office; when the need arises simply throw it on and everything required is at your finger tips. Yep I have been found buck naked in the middle of the night with a SWAT vest on. Ok inside my own home though..

AMMUNITION #2: Full case 500 rounds FMJ Full Metal Jacket 230 Grain Remington. Practice or outdoor ammunition. Not home defense. Will blow through all the walls in your house.. good for shooting through cars though.
AMMUNITION #3: No haha funny here. Extreme Monster Extirpation Ammunition. Federal Premium Solid Core Syntech Flat nose (blue). Rated +P 240 Grain. The penetration on these is around 3 feet.. plus. Brown Bear, Grizzly, Cape Buffalo. This is serious monster slaying ammunition and will go not only through all the walls in your house but your neighbors too. Might be outlawed at your local range. Also runs $45 per box of 20 (if you can find any). Extremely limited production ammunition; not listed in the Federal catalog nor lineup. You get two boxes of 20 rounds = 40 rounds.
COST/BUILD: Ed Brown Gen 4 custom SF units are $3400 shipped on GB if available; note these have Trijicon HD sights and naked slides. The other “SF” units run about $500 less. Our custom builds include six premium 8 round magazines (500BA-HD) $322 upgrade, Kenai center chest holster $155, SWAT vest $121. ROCKEGROUP RAMBLINGS: This is the finest full sized 1911 hand built today in the .45 ACP. Finally dumped the “SPECIAL FORCES” moniker on the slide and dumped fiber optic sights. Nigh to all high end manufacturers recently have done the same (thank Christ). The pinnacle of the 1911 tactical pistol has long been the non catalog Springfield Armory “PC9111LRA” which has been issued to the FBI HRT SWAT units. I own a couple but to be frank like these Gen 4 units better for numerous reasons which time does not allow explaining.
Make no mistake Rockegroup carries Glock exclusively. Our Glock pistols do not make head shots at 25 yards. These pistols will. Our Glock pistols will not reliably kill Brown Bears. These pistols will (with the Syntech ammo). Our Glock pistols do not look badass as these pistols do.
