Description
GLOCK G45 9MM NATO SEQUENTIAL SERIAL NUMBERED SET OF SIX COMPENSATED GLOCKS WITH 18 MAGAZINES INCLUDING XTENDED OEM 19 ROUND, GEMTECH LANYARDS, GLOCK OEM STEEL LOW PRO NIGHT SIGHTS, SAFARILAND GOV’T ISSUE HOLSTERS, CASED LAW ENFORCEMENT STAMPED AMMUNITION ++
GLOCK G45 CROSSOVER 9MM DUTY WEAPONS: From Glock “The compact crossover pistol G45 in 9x19mm combines a compact slide with a full size frame and has all the benefits of a Gen5 model. Utilizing the design and engineering GLOCK developed for its military pistol (G19X), combined with Operator and worldwide Law Enforcement specifications.” So what that means is you have the full sized 17 round frame and a slide that is the size of a G19. It is absolutely my favorite Glock pistol! It is not, however, a “compact”. It is a full sized duty pistol with a slightly shorter slide which precludes “digging”in when driving, sitting, etc. Accuracy is the same as the G17. Set of six brand new Gen 5 sequential serial numbered pistols so they are obviously the latest greatest with modular backstraps to fit your hands and all accoutrements and Gen 5 upgrades which are standard plus contract Law Enforcement steel Glock OEM night sights.
ROCKEGROUP CUSTOM TWO TONE LAW ENFORCEMENT PISTOLS: These Glocks are 100% from Glock as shown with G19X Coyote colored frames and black slides. The Coyote frame matches the serial number on the slide and the barrel. 100% custom contract builds from Glock no aftermarket. Limited edition for Rockegroup LE contract; this one set is available for civilian sale.
EMERGENCY NOTICE: THE BLACK SLIDES ARE “DRY” IN THE PICTURES AND APPEAR MOTTLED. THEY ARE PERFECT.. THEY NEED SOME OIL WIPED ON THEM!
WHY SIX PISTOLS: You need a couple for “practice” and training to be abused and thoroughly used. They are always your “practice” pistols. You need a dedicated carry pistol which you shoot rarely with your duty ammo. It is kept “pristine”. You need one in your office and one in your abode. You probably need more than six…
MAGNAPORT CUSTOM COMPENSATION PKG: Shipped to Magnaport for their compensation tx. Magnaporting or “compensating” these units decreases recoil by as much as 33% they say. I feel mebbee 20% ish which allows the end user to recover faster, stay on target, and expend more ammunition faster and accurately vs a non compensated pistol. I can put three 9mm in the center at 15 feet in under one second with ease using our compensated G17 pistols. You think that’s either great or bullcrap, whatever.
GLOCK OEM STEEL NIGHT SIGHTS: All contract units have the low profile LE issue Glock tritium night sights, steel. These are the lowest profile sights available for the Glock which allows the end user a flatter sight plane which allows for faster sight acquisition. “OHESO” certificated. One Handed Emergency Slide Operation, or “OHESO” means these sights can be used to rack the slide one handed off your pants, post, curb, shoes, what have you. If you reckon you are going to be in a gunfight and never have to use “OHESO” think of the FBI shootout with Edmundo Morales.
LAW ENFORCEMENT AMMUNITION: Full 1000 round case of Federal Premium ‘LAW ENFORCEMENT” Tactical HST 147 Grain ammunition. Each box is stamped “LAW ENFORCEMENT” and this ammunition is typically not for civilian sale (it is included in this civilian sale however). This ammunition is issued to LE departments nationwide and is considered HEA or Humanoid Extirpation Ammunition. This ammunition brass is nickel plated. The nickel plating over the brass increases storage life past 20 years, inhibits/prevents corrosion in moist environments, and insures smoother feeding. This is not practice ammunition’ cost prohibitive. The “civilian” version of this ammunition is $37 per box of 20 rounds. That is $1850 per case.
PRACTICE AMMUNITION: Full 1000 unopened case of FMJ brass reloadable ammunition; Practice, outdoor, shooting through car ammunition. Not home defense; this “ball” ammo will go through several walls without fragmenting.
HOLSTER #1: Safariland Military/LE dual paddle or belt loop rig either or. The paddle is removable and the belt loop system attaches in it’s place if desired. Paddle has a “latch” to lock onto your belt so the holster itself cannot be snatched and in addition has the ALS automatic locking system. This does not have the shroud over the ALS making it the fastest unlocking holster in the world. On your draw your thumb while grabbing the butt of the pistol automatically releases the lock. All-new injection molded paddle design that is highly concealable and rides close to the body with a slightly forward weapon cant. Suede lining to help protect the gun’s sights and finish. We keep all of our pistols in these holsters in the paddle configuration wherever they are. Literally. In the center console, office drawer, bedroom, everywhere. First there is an element of security with them in an ALS holster and second we can pick the ensemble up at any time and pop it on immediately.
HOLSTER #2: Safariland 6004 USN SOCOM issue multi-cam camouflage cordura lined holster, thigh (drop). This holster is the premier military, SWAT, BORTAC issue thigh or leg drop holster. Decreased infrared signature custom built to Gov’t specs with the locking SLS system and shroud. The NSN number is literally “branded” or burned into the cordura fabric on the rear of the holster. Full blown tactical combat holster. “This tactical holster features the Self Locking System (SLS) rotating hood, well suited for tactical situations. With no snap, the SLS allows for a smoother single-motion draw and greater protection against attempted weapon takeaways. The Hood Guard is included. A molded sight track and soft suede protect the gun’s sights and finish. It features a double leg strap and leg shroud. Issue Multi-Cam Cordura SafariLaminate™ construction and a Cordura® nylon covering. This design provides unique textured patterns providing a low signature to infrared lighting. Suede lining helps to protect the gun’s finish”. The price of this holster on the Safariland website is $337 once you enter the proper build specs to include Multi-Cam. These are government order only units and are not “stock” available for civilian sale. Although the Safriland website will allow you to enter an order they will NOT build out the order for you. Trust me. I know this for a “‘factoid”. Our LE contracts take months with Safariland and we order hundreds..
HOLSTER#3: Kenai center chest holster. Kenai center chest holster was originally developed for backcountry carry, ie “bear protection” holsters. Worn with the included strap system (not shown) the holster sits comfortably high center chest either over or under clothing. Center chest makes your pistol immediately accessible for emergency use. These holsters have gained a following for both LE and civilian use as they are perfect “driving” holsters (think about it) and in addition in inclement or cold weather climes can be more advantageous than a hip or shoulder holster.
SAFARILAND STX TACTICAL MAGAZINE HOLDERS: Safariland LE Law Enforcement magazine holders, two. Each STX holder holds three (3) magazines and will fits on a waist belt or can be coverted to MOLLE use.
PRO” CRUISER HARD CASE: Pro level case holds six Glock G45 pistols and magazines. Slots for 12 magazines + 1 in each pistol = 18 magazines. This airline approved LE hard case has a retractable handle and wheels.
MAGAZINES: Ships with 18 Glock Gen 5 OEM magazines. Twelve are Glock Coyote Brown 17 round OEM Gen 5 with orange followers and six are 19 round extended Glock OEM “+2” magazines.
WILSON COMBAT SPRINGS: Contract specs required, for whatever reason, that each 17 round magazine has an extra magazine spring. Wilson Combat was contacted and provided “Extra Power Magazine Spring, Chrome Silicon, Glock” in plastic Wilson Combat sleeves. I would put these twelve extra spring sets in a drawer with your lanyards as I do not see them ever actually replacing the factory springs.. as I have never seen Glock factory springs wear out.
GEMTECH LANYARDS: Ships with six military issue Gemtech Coyote Brown lanyards. Remove them in two seconds and throw them in a drawer unless you are going low crawling through the swamp. These retention devices have the military mandated 100 lb snap rig. If you get hung up a good pull will snap the tether to the coiled lanyard.
BUILD/COST: Today you can buy a new standard black G45 off of GB for $590 shipped. You get 6 custom two tone Glock LE units = $2950. Sequential serial number upgrade is $49 per unit = $245. Ship them all to Magnaport and get back in a couple months another $777 w/ shipping hither and yon for all five. Six sets Glock OEM steel tritium night sights w/ installation would run you $581. Safariland LE thigh contract holster $317. Safariland paddle/belt loop ALS mult-cam holster $182. Kenai center chest rig $155. Case 1000 rounds Federal Premium Law Enforcement Elite JHP $1444. Unopened 1000 round case FMJ $533. “Pro” cruiser case as shown $545. Total to “build” your own would run $7484. Then add GB fees.. Az pays tax visa mc discover AMEX add 3.5% with ID only.
WHY SIX PISTOLS PART DEUX: Ok I am rolling on Gunriters agin. Another expert Gunriter brags about how on Monday he carries an HK with a decocker, on Tuesday he carries a G19 with no external safety and no decocker, on Wednesday he carries a 1911 cocked and locked, on Thursday he carries a Sig with an external safety and on and on. All with different holsters; one OWB one IWB one abdomen, one SOB. If the chit ever hits the fan with this gent and he gets an adrenaline dump first he will be patting himself down to see where his pistol is since it is in a different place routinely, second when he finds it and pulls it out I absolutely guarantee he will stare at it to figure out what the hell he is carrying that day. A recipe for failure. We carry the exact same pistols every day and train and practice with the exact same pistols every week.. ok we try to but it is down to probably 3x monthly. Point is you can call it muscle memory or training or or or, but when I need my pistol it is out and magically the sights are automatically lined up. Fast. Really fast. Our pistols are all Glock 17 units and we have over a dozen, all the same. We would trade em all in for the Glock G45 but cannot justify the expense, time, and effort. Today. As an aside personally I love Colt SAA revolvers and the 1911 platform and yes we do shoot them occasionally on the range. Not saying you cannot own and have fun with twenty different pistols..
