Although these carbines were contracted by Homeland Security for the MCB and have the correct Gov’t markings they are civilian legal regardless of any BATFE “opinion” letters from minor BATFE bureaucrats.
BURNT ORANGE EXCLUSIVE: The JP Thermal Heat Dissipator in burnt orange is exclusive to this carbine (to our knowledge). Custom order, custom build, one left in the world. The subdued burnt orange color is not visible unless you are within a few feet of the carbine.. so for Alex whom thinks the CIA is going to deploy him to Ukraine with his JP next month- no worries. The awesome burnt orange differentiates your carbine from all the others while in training, looks freaking cool, costs more. The dissipator adds mass to the barrel increasing cooling time and allowing the end user to run through high strings of fire without the use of gloves (among other benefits).
SUPERMATCH 14.5″ LIGHT BARREL: Civilian legal 14.5″ barrel. The compensator is pinned so it is over 16″ = civilian legal. The shorter overall length including the compensator makes this carbine easier to maneuver, ergonomically correct, and lets it “swing” easy. Turned from the finest 416R stainless steel and then lead-lapped, button rifled, air-gauged to ensure minimal bore diameter run out for peak accuracy. Cryogenically treated Supermatch™ barrel insures cold bore shot predictability, minimum thermal drift, outstanding accuracy and extended barrel life. Carbine will shoot any 5.56 or .223 you feed it; note the carbine is listed with the “Wylde” chamber.
ZERO RECOIL: As configured carbine has nigh to no recoil; custom build with the low mass bolt carrier, Generation 2 Silent Captured Spring System.
JP FLASH HIDER; LAW ENFORCEMENT: The JP Flash Hider provides extreme reduction in visible muzzle flash with even the flashiest of loads. The most effective device of its type on the market, this is the ideal muzzle treatment for Law Enforcement and your personal tactical build. This custom build also has a Law Enforcement authorized trigger group. The short reset JP system set at 3.5 lbs insures reliability on military and civilian primers to include 5.56 NATO cartridges. As an aside this rifle in it’s .223 Wylde configuration is certificated to process all 5.56 and .223 ammunition.
CUSTOM CTR-02: Full lightweight billet, standard JP anti-walk pins and upgrades. Trigger group 3.5-4 lb release with a seriously short reset. Poundage insures reliability on all standard military and civilian primers yet has a crisp break with virtually no reset allowing for exceptionally fast follow up. NIGHTFORCE NX8 1-8: Lightweight version Nightforce 1-8 illuminated DMR C654 scope of which there are reviews everywhere but performance wise this optic allows the operator to use as a red dot at 1X using the “both eyes open” method and engage from 10 inches out. At 1 power the “scope” is literally a red dot allowing for fast acquisition and using the BEO method engage numerous CQB close quarter battle targets.. think room clearing. By cranking the scope up to as much as 8X a complete reticle miraculously appears with windage and hash marks; mils which allows range estimation. At 8X engaging and hitting silhouettes 100% at 500 yards is a non-issue for any modicum shooter; experienced operators will be racking at 800+. Nightforce is mounted on the JP cantilever 30mm mount. MAGPUL MS-4 DUAL POINT SLING: Quickly reconfigurable between one-point and two-point operation. A heavy-duty replacement for the typical push-button swivel, but also maintains compatibility with the standard QD sling cup interface. The custom ordered JP carbine is set up with a Magpul ASAP ambidextrous sling attachment point for “one point” operation and in addition has the JP sling attach point mounted on the forward rail and six sling attach points on the stock. This allows the end user to utilize a one or two point sling configuration in numerous formats dependent on requirements. Webbing length is optimized for a comfortable fit with all body types and body armor configurations.
