MOSSBERG VANG COMP 20″ COMBAT RMR RED DOT, RAIL, SADDLE, HEAT SHIELD W/ BAYONET 00 BUCK +

$2,999.00

Description

MOSSBERG 590 MOSSBERG 12 GAUGE VANG COMP 20 INCH 590 FIFTEEN SHELL COMBAT RMR RED DOT UPGRADES ++ PRICE IS FOR ONE SHOTGUN AND ACCESSORIES.. ships as a “Pick up and Shoot” package with optic zeroed; simply pick up, load up, and shoot OR unfired your choice.

SHOTGUN:  Twenty inch Tactical Combat Mossberg 590 12 gauge 2 3/4 or 3 inch shells, quad dimpled heat shield, wood stocked, 20 inch combat barrel. Shotgun holds 9 rounds inside and six outside, port, total 15 shells 00 Buck.
* WOOD STOCK: Adds heft and enables the end user to fight with their weapon. Solid wood enables a disabling buttstroke, soaks up felt recoil. A wood stocked shotgun “fits” and is ergonomically correct plus it looks simply awesome.
* HEAT SHIELD: The heat shield adds girth (diameter/width) to the barrel which greatly assists and adds in ft lbs of smashing/crushing power using a reverse buttstroke. In addition it protects the barrel and allows more latitude in harsh disabling conditions ie adds more protection and or “cover”. Just makes the overall shotgun tougher and able to withstand substantially more abuse.
* 20 INCH BARREL: With this cylinder barrel at 20 inches and the Vang Comp TX it has tighter patterns at longer distance. Twenty five yards with all pellets in a silhouette would be the norm.

VANG COMP CUSTOM: The Vang Comp TX insures a higher degree of accuracy with 12-inch shot patterns @ 25 yards with standard 00 Buck which is 2-times tighter than a cylinder bore barrel. Severely limits felt recoil for faster follow-up shots; equals easier training which makes the 12 gauge accessible to all shooters. VangComp TX maximizes performance as there is no need for choke tubes and their maintenance limitations.

MESA TACTICAL: SureShell shotshell carriers feature mounting brackets with integral top Picatinny sight rails. Slung on the left side of the receiver, securely fastened at the top. Rails are machined from aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum mil-spec hard anodized non-glare matte finish manufactured in compliance with MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny specifications.

TRIJICON RMR: We chose the the RM02 with the 6.5 moa red dot; this is the largest dot size available and allows instant dot and target acquisition. Ideal for CQB which is what this platform was built for. The RM02 Type 2 LED is always on and automatically adjusts for lighting conditions. In the brightest light the dot is at full intensity yet dials itself down in darker or low light or no light conditions. Battery life exceeds two years so change the battery on your birthday = good to go. Always on; grab and rack and stack.

MAGPUL SLING: The sling is an adapted sling to fit the shotgun with Allen attachments. Quick adjust sling, premier Magpul. Must be removed for bayonet use.

BAYONET: Military issue M7 bayonet mounts rock solid no wobble. Upper and lower sharpened with full length sharp under-belly.

AMMUNITION: One hundred rounds (100) of 00 Buck and one box of non lethal “home defense” ammunition. Careful with rubber non-lethal shotshells. They are deadly at close range and frankly, in my opinion, have no use for civilians. If you need to pick up your shotgun to “defend” yourself rubber balls ain’t gonna be my answer but then I do not live in California.. and if I did live in California and needed to defend mine and myself I still would not use rubber balls.

SOFT CASE/SHOOTING MAT: Canvas soft case unfolds into a multi use mat. Premium padding, functionality and superb durability.

COST/BUILD: Mossberg 590 shotguns with the 20 inch barrels AND quad pod heat shields AND bayonet lugs (9 shot) are running $733 shipped on Gunbroker. Ship to Vang Comp for a couple months and add $383 with shipping. Add a Mesa Tactical complete rig as described $299 installed. Trijicon RMR 02 installed $647. Trijicon R33 picatinny low mount for RMR $94. Magpul adapted sling $101. Military M7 new in box with scabbard $131. One hundred rounds 00 Buck = $144, box of non lethal = $40. OD Green case/mat $117. Grand total to “build” one will run you $2689. Then add GB fees.. Az pays tax visa mc discover AMEX add 3.5%

“Vang Comp System was developed at the behest of a government agency which was searching for a way to make their duty shotguns safer to down-range bystanders, i.e. make their scatterguns shoot tighter shot patterns without the use of choke tubes. This government agency also complained about the recoil and night-time muzzle flash of the 12ga shotguns and requested a mitigation of these factors as well…  Vang Comp devised a system of lengthening the forcing cone of the shotgun barrel to allow a smoother transition of the shot column from chamber to bore, thus decreasing recoil and shot deformation. Vang Comp would then further back-bore the barrel so that the shot column gradually tapered and squeezed together; before they get to the muzzle, the hot expanding gasses which account for the muzzle flash are jettisoned through a precisely-calculated and rigorously-tested array of compensation ports. This hot gas is discarded through 62 holes, 31 on either side of the front sight which contributes to the flat shooting, reduced felt recoil, eliminated muzzle flip and diminished muzzle flash. A standard cylinder bore barrel will shoot about 1-inch of spread per yard from the target. The Vang Comp barrel modification produces shot patterns that are 2-times tighter”.
