TRIJICON HD RED DOT NEW MODEL TYPE 4: The RMR® HD exceeds the performance of all other red dots. Top-loading battery, larger window, forward looking light sensor, multiple reticle options in each unit, stunning illumination adjustability. Forward looking light sensor gauges the brightness at your target (not where you are standing) in auto mode and adjusts reticle brightness to be effective in any scenario. Switch between a complex reticle or single crisp dot, both of which include a new super bright setting and an additional night vision setting. Expanded field of view vs COA and Type 2 RMR.
The historic problem with the COA and other red dots is that as you fire the recoil/muzzle flip causes the red dot to “disappear” from the small sight window and you need to manually re-acquire and find the red dot after each shot to shoot again. The HD direct mount has a larger window and tends to keep the red dot in your sight window which allows you to fire follow up shots much faster and much more accurately. The HD also adjusts for light where your target is not where you are; if you are in a dark doorway with little/no light and your target is outside in an illuminated scenario the HD adjusts the red dot for the correct illumination where your target is not where you are.
TRIJICON RMR 1 MOA PRECISION DOT: This RMR has the precision 1 MOA dot and the 55 MOA CQB circle reticle with the 1 moa dot centered within. See last picture. You can use the full circle CQB reticle OR toggle to a single 1 MOA dot if desired for long range precision or hunting. The one moa dot allows for precise shooting at longer distance as it is a “precision” moa dot. A one inch dot at 100 yards, two inch dot at 50 yards, 4 inch dot at 25 yards.
