TRIJICON MGO M249 ACOG: This M249 includes the United States issue Trijicon ACOG w/ RMR red dot. The TA11MGO-M249 3.5×35 ACOG is a Machine Gun Optic (MGO) designed specifically for the M249 weapon system and is used by NATO. The MGO provides the shooter enhanced target identification and increased hit probability out to 1000 meters utilizing the Bullet Drop Compensator. Incorporates dual-illumination technology using a combination of fiber optics and self-luminous tritium. This allows the aiming point to be illuminated without the use of batteries. The tritium illuminates the aiming point in total darkness, and the fiber-optic self-adjusts reticle brightness during daylight according to ambient light conditions. This allows the operator to keep both eyes open while engaging targets and maintaining maximum situational awareness. Includes the military mandated ARD anti reflection device (removable) and “enhanced” screw in latching objective and ocular covers.
* Note the military issue ACOG is new never issued and is stamped with the required military range/graph diorama on the port side and the BZO graph on the starboard side (as shown in the pictures).
* The reticle on the MGO machine gun optic is numbered up to “10”. Target at 600 meters put the reticle on “6”. Target at 1100 meters you use the hashmark below “10”.
* The issue MGO has a Geissele mount. Civilian versions use a thumbscrew mount. The Geissele has a more slender profile and insures the mount is snag proof vs the thumbscrew mount which protrudes past the side of the M249.
* Tennebrex ARD anti-reflection device aka “killflash” is mounted on the MGO. The ARD Killflash keeps you concealed from your target by eliminating stray light reflections that can reveal your location. The specially-designed baffle system won’t reduce your view.image

TRIJICON MGO TUNED: The Trijicon MGO ACOG was manufactured and tuned specifically for this exact M249 barrel and barrel length using specific military issue ammunition; M855 steel core penetrator Green Tip. This combination is what the BDC ballistic drop compensator is predicated on; in other words using the included ammunition and this specific M249 your reticle is tuned for hits to 1100 meters.

TRIJICON SOCOM RMR SYSTEM: The red dot RMR® Type 2 was selected by U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) after extensive testing and evaluation. Unique is the hard-anodized coyote brown coating which is designed to reduce detection and special military markings which identify its date of manufacture and unique serial number. Upgraded electronics for military use. Side controls allow the user to adjust the illumination brightness, toggle between manual and automatic modes, and power down the RMR for storage. Automatic mode function.

RMR RED DOT USE: The SOCOM RMR is mounted on top of the Trijicon MGO optic on a Trijicon mount. For close quarter battle scenarios simply rotating your cheek upwards on the stock insures immediate red dot acquisition.

AMMUNITION, ISSUE, GREEN TIP: NATO issue mil-spec M855 Steel core Green Tip. It is NATO spec 62 Grain and is not intended for use in commercial or bolt-action rifles chambered in 223. This is the same ammo in use by our troops now and sees current use in North Africa and Syria. Brass-cased, boxer-primed, non-corrosive, and reloadable. *Not for use in indoor ranges.* This ammunition was specifically designed to penetrate a steel helmet at 700 meters; not indoor home protection ammo but it will tear a vehicle apart. 2000 rounds fresh manufacture linked ammunition in 100 round belts. Total of twenty 100 round belts. The M27 links are re-usable. Note this M249 is an exact duplicate of the military issue units (albeit in semi-automatic) and accepts NATO issue M4 and M16 magazines for back up/emergency use. The 100 round belts may be linked together forming 200 round belts if the end user elects to use the plastic 200 round drum magazine (included) or the 200 round soft case (included).

NUTSACKS/MAGAZINES/DRUMS: Nutsacks are 100 round soft Coyote nylon magazines and have a slender profile. FOUR 100 round military issue FN nutsacks are included. See pictures.
* Plastic drum magazines hold 200 rounds of linked ammunition and FOUR are included.
* Soft pack magazines, Coyote, nylon, 200 round. FOUR are included. New manufacture, military issue. See pictures.
* FN two tone matching FDE M4 magazine included. The 30 round M4 magazine may be used in emergency scenarios in lieu of belted ammunition. It has a magazine insertion slot integral to the M249.

OTIS CLEANING KIT: Military issue 5.56 OTIS cleaning kit included.

IVIII AIRBORNE CORPS GERBER: LMF II Infantry MOLLE compatible knife with a partially serrated blade that can also serve as pommel. The sheath includes a built-in blade sharpener. Originally designed to free an aircrew from a downed aircraft the LMF II has proven it’s ability to cut through the fuselage of an aircraft. Purposeful break between the tang and the butt cap, providing insulated protection against stray wires and absorbing any shock from hammering. This 10” survival knife has seen limited issue to specific military MOS’s.

DRAG BAG, CANVAS, ISSUE: The M249 ships in a canvas OD Green issue drag bag.

COST/BUILD: M249S SAW units are now running $10,555 shipped without optics without ammo without a canvas case.
