Decreases felt recoil by as much as 33% making this lightweight .357 Magnum easier to handle and shoot accurately. Quad porting allows the end user to get more rounds on target in a faster more efficient, more accurate manner.
ACTION JOB: Revolver has been “tuned” for CQB work. Close quarter battle and EDC everyday carry is what these pistols are all about. A CQB “action job” does not leave you with a 3.5lb trigger pull in SA mode; it simply insures your timing and lock up are impeccable.
ROCKEGROUP RAMBLINGS: These revolvers are awesome.. as is any quality 2-3″ revolver for EDC and CQB. Revolvers offer a thoughtless process for shooters. Simply pick up and pull the trigger. No fuss no muss. Average gunfight is 5′ or so (surprise) so any weapon quick into action is a plus; no external safety, no slide, no problems. Point n pull. You can keep revolvers loaded for years and they will go bang when you pick em up and pull/press/squeeze/jerk the trigger. Reliable. Preferred CQB channel sight or groove sight with a gold bead front. Revolvers also may be a preferred firearm for those with weak hands due to age (young or old), arthritis, smallish folk. Semi auto needs a firm grip to chamber successive rounds and if’n it jams you will need to do some slide manipulation. Not so with a revolver. CQB can get close and messy fast. A revolver pressed against your adversary will still go bang repetitively while a semi auto most likely will not.
REVOLVERS NO NO: The things that make revolvers great for defensive use also present inherent dangers. “Simply pick up and pull the trigger” means anyone can pick the revolver up and pull the trigger. Including a three year old. Including your adversary when he/she kicks your ass and takes your revolver away (cause you suck and have never had any training).
REVOLVERS NO NO NO: As with any firearm and any individual if you have not been trained properly, have not practiced routinely and properly, you should not own a firearm. You are liable to do more harm than good..
.357 MAGNUM TERRORS: These revolvers will shoot .38 Special +P loads which may be more apropos for the majority of shooters. Even less recoil, less concussive blast, less noise. More controllable and more comfortable for most shooters allowing them to put two rounds on target in the time it takes to put one round of full bore .357 on target. Today’s high quality bullets in the .38 Special tend to perform exceptionally well. While shooting at the range during your training session I am sure you will shoot .357 Magnum JHP loads and .38 Special loads discovering which you handle better.
