NON CATALOG CUSTOMIZATION/UPGRADES:
* Custom Novak’s tritium night sights
* Silver Aluminum Spotted trigger
* Silver Stainless supermatch barrel

* Silver matching Wilson Combat Vickers magazines

TRIJICON HD XR ORANGE FRONT SIGHT: Used for advanced target identification in CQB close quarter battle and engagement at increased distances. Ideal for police and competitive shooters. Thinner front sight post allows the shooter to have a larger field of view which further enhances the ability to identify CQB targets, expedite engagements and see hits on target at longer distances. For local and federal law enforcement and pistol shooters that need the advantage of a faster sight acquisition and more precise engagement and hit placement.

NOVAK’S TRITIUM DOT GHOST REAR: We had to make some special calls to acquire these custom CQB sights (currently unavailable on the civilian market). A civilian in a gunfight has an average opponent distance of under 10 feet. These sights have a large “U” shape enabling the end user to acquire the front sight faster than any sight currently on the market. Faster sight acquisition equals faster response time equals mebbee you live. The “8 ball” type sighting system with the front and rear tritium dot also insures faster acquisition and precision use; the front dot is aligned over the rear dot which is faster than the conventional three dot method. Streamlined, rugged, all-steel sight eliminates the top half of the conventional ghost ring but still directs the eye to naturally center on the front sight. A single Tritium dot is positioned directly below the aperture. Wedge shape won’t snag and is less prone to damage if the pistol is dropped. Faster acquisition than any red dot sight or standard rear iron sight system.

NOVAK’S TRITIUM GHOST DOT REAR II: Far sighted Hyperopia is a common eye condition that causes blurry close-up vision. These sights alleviate the issue of rear/front sight alignment as the rear sight is the largest CQB “U” notch sight available. I personally have Hyperopia which is a non issue with these Novak’s.

RED DOT SIGHTS SUCK: A red dot mounted on a pistol has the red dot substantially higher than iron sights which means you do not have instant sight acquisition and literally must “search” for the red dot. This means time. There is no extra “time” in a CQB fight. This issue can be overcome with substantial practice however subsequently returning to the proper lower sight picture with iron sights is now problematic. Among other issues a red dot adds bulk to your platform, is difficult to conceal, and is not ergonomically correct. You might also keep in mind a red dot is an electronic device. Examples for Alex we all remember.. Ferguson shooting. FBI concludes Michael Brown 6’9″ 280 lbs was on top of the police officer (beating the officer) when he was shot. Red dot would have just snagged and precluded the officer from defending himself. How about Zimmerman? Same thing. Opponent was on top of Zimmerman beating him when Zimmerman pulled his firearm. Red dot would have been useless. Have a friend or significant other stand 21 feet away from you and charge you.. Tueller drill. Takes an opponent right at 1.5 seconds to cover that distance and hack you to death. Red dot too time consuming to unlimber and acquire = useless. But hey.. you look cool with your red dot!!

RED DOT SIGHTS ARE GREAT: If you are not ever ever going to be in a CQB scenario and are shooting 25 yards red dots may be the way to go. Law Enforcement is now trained to retreat from the threat and get “distance”. New policies and procedures further dictate officers are now to retreat completely behind their vehicle when confronting a deadly threat or completely race to the nearest rearward cover. This creates distance. Distance degrades accuracy. Red dots can enhance accuracy at distance (at the expense of time). As an aside your military operators are trained to charge a close ambush or engage and move forward in a CQB scenario. Typically.

EIGHT (8) WILSON COMBAT 800-45FS8AB MAGAZINES, 1911 ETM-V VICKERS DUTY MAGAZINE .45 ACP, 8 ROUND, FULL SIZE, ALUMINUM BASE PAD, STAINLESS STEEL BEAD BLASTED FINISH:
* Finest 1911 magazine ever manufactured to Larry Vickers specifications and apparently manufactured by CMC (Chip McCormick) whom Wilson Combat bought out. Awesome +P rated magazines; no longer manufactured or available since Larry Vickers ex Special Forces (Green Berets) ex Delta pled guilty to two felonies for illegally obtaining and selling fully automatic weapons and will be residing in a federal penitentiary shortly. Wilson Combat wasted no time scrubbing his name from their entire product line but that does not change the fact that these are simply the finest magazines ever manufactured. These magazines are running $62 each shipped at Mile High and Optics Planet today. Google them and you will find an entire book dedicated to extolling the merits of these proprietary magazines. Magazines ship in a Galati magazine holder as shown in the pictures.

HOLSTER ENSEMBLE #1: Badassian Southern Trapper custom ordered for this exact pistol. The “Sea Witch” with genuine shark skin leather. This holster will fit like a glove and will not scratch the finish on your firearm. Southern Trapper is the premier holster maker in the United States today. Also the most expensive. Includes a matching magazine holder (two magazines). Extreme comfort with lifetime warranty. “Generationally fought over leather goods”.

HOLSTER ENSEMBLE #2: Law Enforcement ALS locking holster, Safariland. Military/LE paddle or belt loop rig either/or. The paddle is removable and the belt loop system attaches in it’s place if desired. Paddle has a “latch” to lock onto your belt so the holster itself cannot be snatched and in addition has the ALS automatic locking system. This does not have the shroud over the ALS making it the fastest unlocking holster in the world. On your draw your thumb while grabbing the butt of the pistol automatically releases the lock. Highly concealable, rides close to the body with a slightly forward weapon cant. Suede lining to protect the gun’s sights and finish. We keep all of our pistols in these holsters in the paddle configuration wherever they are. Literally. In the center console, office drawer, bedroom, everywhere. First there is an element of security with them in an ALS holster and second we can pick the ensemble up at any time and pop it on immediately. The ALS system works on the premise that in a CQB scenario your opponent will attempt to “snatch” your weapon. Unless your opponent has specific knowledge and prior use of this ensemble they will be unable to unlock the holster and release the firearm.

TRACER AMMUNITION “STREAK”: One full 200 round unopened case of Ammo Inc “Streak”.  Perfect for target practice, night shooting, outdoor defense/offense. The non-incendiary tracer projectile allows you to see its path leading all the way up to the target and is visible in the dark making it the perfect round for shooting at night. Luminescent dot on the rear of the bullet; upon firing, the flash from the muzzle illuminates this dot, providing you with a luminous tracer-like projectile path. Ammo Inc. These rounds are also safe for indoor use and use a non-incendiary bullet. With HyperClean technology, you can also enjoy greatly reduced cleaning times.

COST/BUILD: Ed Brown Gen 4 custom SF units are $3395 shipped on GB if available; note these have upgraded Trijicon HD sights and naked slides. The other “SF” units run about $500 less. Our custom builds include custom Novak’s Tritium Dot Ghost Rear sight; $250 upgrade installed. Eight premium Wilson Combat/Vickers magazines $62 each = $496 upgrade. Southern Trapper “Sea Witch” is $275 on their site, matching two magazine holder $180. Safariland ALS LE holster $77. Unopened 200 round case tracer ammunition $20 per box x 10 boxes = 200 rounds = $200. Total if you could build your own (you cannot) would crack $4873. Az pays tax visa mc discover AMEX add 3.5%
