CIVILIAN LEGAL M16: FN manufactured these M16 CIVILIAN LEGAL rifles with modified lowers so they cannot shoot fully automatic or “select-fire”. They are semi-automatic rifles = civilian legal. These are 100% military specification rifles and have parts interchangeability with the issue M16 rifle and will pass any/all milspec inspection EXCEPT the lower has been manufactured so it will not not not shoot fully automatic. The select switch does have “SAFE”, “SEMI”, AND “AUTO” but will not move into the “AUTO” position.
These military issue rifles have the period correct KAC Knight’s Armament Company M5 RAS Adapter rail with rail adapter covers and the KAC adjustable rear iron sight and the Knight’s forward grip along with the proper UID label. Rail covers are easily removed or moved depending on your mission requirements. The rear sights are adjustable with an easy click from 100 to 600 meters and are calibrated for use with the military issue green tip ammunition (which is included).
FN manufactures the M16, M4, M240, M249 and tons of other weapons contracted by the U.S. Military. Colt as of today has been brought back into the fold (thanks to politicians) after being given the boot for supplying sub spec equipment (fascinating back story). FN took over production of the M16 and M4 from Colt and fields a noticeably superior weapon.

MILITARY ISSUE AMMUNITION: Green Tip Steel Core Penetrator 5.56 NATO 62 Grain M855, two unopened 1000 round cases = 2000 rounds. Designed for use in the M16 to penetrate a steel helmet at 700 meters. Reloadable brass casings with the SS109 steel core projectile. This projectile is an effective blend of lead core and hardened steel penetrator at the tip. Used by NATO and military forces around the world. An appropriate choice to leave loaded in magazines reserved for emergency use as these are not typical FMJ cartridges and boast increased ballistic capabilities along with the ability to store for decades. Note each case is a sealed unopened manufacturers cardboard case; each case is 1000 rounds.
MILITARY ISSUE MAGAZINES, EIGHT: These are OKAY Mil-Spec issue magazines or Duramag. “Plastic works fine for toys and casual use, but has proven molecularly unstable in extreme environments, vulnerable to changes in humidity, and unable to retain shape during extended use. These mil-spec magazines are proven reliable on the frozen tundra, in the sands of the desert, and/or pulling from long-term storage”.
MILITARY ISSUE BAYONET: Issue M9 bayonets manufactured for this M16A4 rifle. Stainless blade, non-reflective gray phosphate finish and milled sawteeth. Wire cutter integral to the sheath.
