* These rifles as set up with the military issue Steiner optics are used for CQB close quarter battle with the Steiner at 1x as a “red dot” using the “both eyes open” method. The ability to crank to an 8x magnification pushes these carbines into the counter-sniper role and are awesome hunting carbines for appropriate game.
* The military runs 14.5 inch barrels on their M4 carbines not 16 inch barrels. These are civilian legal as Geissele pinned the SUREFIRE SOCOM SUPPRESSOR READY FLASH HIDER so the OAL (overall length) is 16″. If you can buy a .22 revolver you can buy these! These are the same as the Geissele URGI SOCOM issue carbines. SOCOM issue URGI Geissele upper accepts all M-LOK accessories and the picatinny rails can be moved wherever the end user desires. Carbine includes the Airborne Super Charging Handle from Geissele, the upgraded Geissele trigger group, numbered picatinny rail, M-LOK Crane certified, multiple sling attach ports, new edition magazine release/catch (double oversized), NSN stamped. Trigger guard opens for gloved use in sub zero temps. STEINER MILITARY OPTICS: These are the absolute top of the line military issue scopes manufactured 100% in Germany. Military issue Steiner MX8i is the newest version of the CQBMRSS as issued to military forces. At 1x the optic is used as a red dot in CQB close quarter battle scenarios from 1 foot out to as far as you desire; by cranking up to 8x the ability to engage silhouettes at 800 meters and or make the “apricot” shot is apparent. Reticle has an “enemy combatant” graph or rangefinder. By putting the “enemy combatant” in the graph an instant range estimation from 200-800 meters is shown. Graph can be utilized for any known objects size; ie, deer runs 36 ” tall (body), coyote 24 inches at the shoulder etc. Of course as a sniper you already know the standard door size, standard window dimensions and can use those for your range estimation. ATLAS BIPOD, QUICK RELEASE: BT-10 LW17 duofold bipod; legs fold forward or backward. Note this carbine WITHOUT the bipod excels as a CQB platform for room clearing or as a standard infantry carbine. If you are using for home defense or CQB the bipod has a quick release mount which pops the bipod off in under one second. If you are hunting or smacking silhouettes at 700 yards the bipod is invaluable. This is the same bipod used by SOCOM and has an NSN number listed on the BT site.
SUREFIRE BATTLE LIGHT: M300C is a compact white light of the scout series. It has a knurled knob to quickly unscrew and use as a hand held light if desired. 175 meter range with over an hour runtime. This is set up to run off the tailcap switch; the handguard/barrier stop is set so your thumb can run the light without interfering with weapons use.
