SUPERMATCH 14.5″ LIGHT BARREL: Civilian legal 14.5″ barrel. The compensator is pinned so it is over 16″ = civilian legal. The shorter overall length including the tactical compensator makes this carbine easier to maneuver, ergonomically correct, and lets it “swing” easy. Turned from the finest 416R stainless steel and then lead-lapped, button rifled, air-gauged to ensure minimal bore diameter run out for peak accuracy. Cryogenically treated Supermatch™ barrel insures cold bore shot predictability, minimum thermal drift, outstanding accuracy and extended barrel life. Carbine will shoot any 5.56 or .223 you feed it; note the carbine is listed with the “Wylde” chamber. Note: The “light” barrel designation is a bit of a misnomer. It is nearly the same as an M4 and would be better designated “medium”. Slightly heavier barrel than the “Ultra-Light” it allows for heavier strings of fire before cooling, increased mass for quicker cooling, the slight weight increase “steadies” the rifle for precision use, decreases recoil even further, and does something else.
ZERO RECOIL: As configured carbine has nigh to no recoil; custom build with the low mass bolt carrier, Generation 2 Silent Captured Spring System, custom JP Tactical Compensator, light classified barrel.
THERMAL HEAT DISSIPATOR: The thicker barrel contour (classified as light) allows for faster heat dissipation and has slower heat build up than the ultra light barrel. In addition this carbine has a custom heat dissipator which increases mass which in turn allows the barrel to heat even slower and cool even faster during high strings of fire.
CUSTOM CTR-02: Full lightweight billet, standard JP anti-walk pins and upgrades. Trigger group 3.5-4 lb release with a seriously short reset. Poundage insures reliability on all standard military and civilian primers yet has a crisp break with virtually no reset allowing for exceptionally fast follow up. Complete itemization in the pictures, too much to list, please review it there.
STEINER MILITARY OPTIC: Military issue Steiner M8Xi is the newest version of the CQBMRSS as issued to military forces. At 1x the optics is used as a red dot in CQB close quarter battle scenarios from 1 foot out to as far as you desire; by cranking up to 8x the ability to engage silhouettes at 800 meters and or make the “apricot” shot is apparent. Reticle has an “enemy combatant” graph or rangefinder. By putting the “enemy combatant” in the graph an instant range estimation from 200-800 meters is shown. Graph can be utilized for any known objects size; ie, deer runs 36 ” tall (body), coyote 24 inches at the shoulder etc. Of course as a sniper you already know the standard door size, standard window dimensions and can use those for your range estimation. From Steiner military division; “used today by Special Forces around the globe – Steiner sets a new benchmark with the ultimate DMR (Designated Marksman Riflescope) M8Xi 1-8×24 with an 8x zoom and an outstanding field of view (4.8-34.2 m at 100 m). The 8x zoom gives the operator more flexibility and a higher resolution from close quarter to mid-range scenarios while the large field of view and the outstanding optical quality create a perfect overview of the surroundings at all times. The new M8Xi 1-8×24 has been designed to resist the toughest conditions and is already proven battle worthy and beyond”.
SPECIAL FORCES STEINER ISSUE OPTIC II: This is the finest rifle scope currently manufactured and will be for years to come. Name any optic manufacturer (any) and they will not compare. Period. STEINER OPTIC MX8i III: THIS IS A “RED DOT” AND AN 8X POWERED MID RANGE (700 YARDS) OPTIC! For house clearing or CQB the optic has a red dot when at 1x power with an illumination knob.
