We shipped a brand new Delta Elite to Bob Reeves whom runs the custom shop at Nighthawk Custom. Their Master Gunsmith built this specific Colt; full itemization and specs are in the pictures. Note the test target in the pictures. These sights were installed and fitted for an absolute dead on POI.
MATCH GRADE TRIGGER JOB: Complete trigger component replacement with Nighthawk Custom parts. Hand fitted, hand honed, hand tuned with a medium solid trigger. Tuned to 3lbs. No creep, crisp drop.

CROWN MATCH 10MM BARREL: Precision machine Match 10mm stainless barrel. Measure locked up barrel to bushing or slide face, Flush-cut barrel to barrel bushing or slide face, then angle target crown barrel, then rework crown at lands and grooves, then hand polish crown.
PREP AND DEHORN ENTIRE PISTOL: Hand beveled slide and frame, controls de-horned, blended slide and frame, blended grip safety to frame, snag free.
NIGHTHAWK CUSTOM CHEKER 25 LPI FRAME: Front strap full 25 LPI engraving/machining see pictures. This is not a bolt on part; the stainless steel frame itself is machined. Matching rear of grip is also 25 LPI. The rear is a fitted Nighthawk Custom Mainspring Housing.
NIGHTHAWK BEAVERTAIL SAFETY (ENHANCED): Large swing NC Beavertail installed, hand fitted, hand tuned.
NIGHTHAWK BEVELED TACTICAL BUSHING: Hand fitted, installed (thick).
NIGHTHAWK TACTICAL TOOL STEEL SAFETY: Nighthawk Custom OEM part, fitted/tuned. On ejection the magazine seems propelled out of the pistol and will not hang up.
BALL CUT RADIUS SLIDE: If you look at this pistol nearly 2 inches of the front has been “ball cut” or machined down providing an enhanced aesthetic and more ergonomically correct ensemble.
BEVELED SLIDE: The bottom of the slide has been beveled and does not hang over the frame. Smooth transition, slick, snag free.
NOVAK’S CUSTOM SIGHT PACKAGE: Machine the slide for the Rockegroup supplied custom Novak’s sight package and install. These Novak’s eliminate the top half of the conventional ghost ring but still directs the eye to naturally center on the front sight. A single tritium dot is positioned directly below the aperture. Instant sight acquisition with the wide rear sight window. Gunsmith required installation. The front sight is the Trijicon HD Orange fitted/installed by NC with slide machining. Note the test target; absolute dead center POI.

NIGHTHAWK CUSTOM BLACK G10 GRIPS: Nighthawk Custom and Railscales collaborated to create a custom set of 1911 grips… these. Agency cuts for a sure grip while also providing a unique design. An Agency cut inspired thumb scoop allows quick access to the mag release. Pistol ships with rubber Delta Elite red diamond grips also.
HOLSTER #1: Premier OWB low profile Black Shark holster. Curved, form fitting, 1.5″ loops. From Wilson Combat’s subcontractor.
HOLSTER #2: Safariland ALS locking holster. The paddle is removable and the belt loop system attaches in it’s place if desired. Paddle has a “latch” to lock onto your belt so the holster itself cannot be snatched and in addition has the ALS automatic locking system. This does not have the shroud over the ALS making it the fastest unlocking holster in the world. On your draw your thumb while grabbing the butt of the pistol automatically releases the lock. Highly concealable, rides close to the body with a slightly forward weapon cant. Suede lining to protect the gun’s sights and finish.

Instant access while on the move in the boonies, in a tree stand, ground blind, back alley, what have you. These have picked up quite a following for drivers. The holster again is center chest and does not preclude a draw as any other holster would while driving. In addition you can zip or button a light (or heavy) outer garment over the ensemble and none are the wiser. Includes full strap system (not shown).
